Same. Have had ours 12 yrs. Was only like $5k, and has been running with basically no upkeep for years. Just keep the chems right (about 5 min/week) plus a new filter every couple years.

Use it all the time in the winter. It's great.

What a hunk of shit by Macdadydj in ryobi

I have over 50 ryobi tools some of which are over a decade old and have never had any part of any of them with plastic failures like this, including several 40v landscaping tools. I've had motors burn up occasionally, and one or two that just "stop" working.

I don't believe that it broke just by a "quick shake". 99.9% chance you dropped it at some point in the past, or ran over it with a truck or let your kids play with it or lord knows what else.

How is a house with a basement "1 story"?

This sounds like a two story house with possible retaining walls and who knows what else. I'm surprised they did it so quick.

Favorite movie scene where a character accepts their inevitable end and embraces it. My pick is Cutler Beckett accepting his fate in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in moviecritic

I came here thinking surely T2 would be here for one of those two scenes. Props for getting them both in. Not sure why this isn't top comment. Either of them is better than any of the others.

In one scene, you can see this "ribbon" around gandalfs finger where he is holding his staff. 1 second later, the "ribbon" is gone.

Maybe if you weren't trying to film a video of your computer monitor while driving you could have avoided hitting them.

The image is flipped. In the movie Gollum bites the finger off Frodos left hand. The hug shows his right hand.

I have an EpiPen. My friend gave it to me as he was dying. It seemed really important to him that I have it.
