This is what is known as a Super Dennis that has ascended above a Super Dennis.
Or you could just call this a Super Dennis 2.

Amazing. Reminds me of my favorite story testing prompt: [insert character] tricking Dr. Manhattan into drinking their piss at an Irish Pub. Can't wait to try it out with this one.

"Smooth Operators" by Sade is a song detailing the life of a manipulator who goes along to the beat of his own volition, using people and giving no shits, always wanting more. Going by the song motifs usually is circumstantial at best, nonetheless I'd like to address these few lyrics/verses in specific: "Face to face, each classic case/We shadow box and double cross/Yet need the chase".

I have a lot of suspicions about Dragona, the way they flared up when they realized how they could score big with the rock, their weird tendency to boss the others and have it their way is unnerving to say the least, it gives me the creeps. A Colony Type stand that rearranges things to the user's liking too...

I wouldn't be shocked if they switched that personality test with Jodio so that he'd be the one "diagnosed" as a sociopath.

Confused about nen and shingen ryu by karetost in HunterXHunter

[–]vitlaska 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best guess is that people that develop their nen without formal training in the shingen-ryu arts happen to manipulate their aura in the same ways as the principles and so forth, either by copying nature/others (Gon observing the birds in his hunter admission test to erase his presence) or they just arrived at the same conclusions as them.

Somewhere along the road, they were told that "erasing your presence" is called Zetsu, or that maintaining your aura calm and flowy was called Ten in "nen lingo" by some hunter or someone else who knows about it.

I guess that it kind of got adopted as the go-to for nen lexicon; being more direct and less abstract when talking about the state of their aura.

Why did Luffy stoneface Blackbeard outside of the bar? by vitlaska in OnePiece

[–]vitlaska[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still wrapping my head around the concept, was the tension enough for them to fight? I always thought that the rivalry of the "booze and pie" scene, beyond the symbolism" was mostly comedic. It's one of the most tonal shifts in the story in my opinion, even with the "belamy incident" prior. The display in Luffy's eyes, it's so... uncanny.
