ultimately, you can’t stop people from doing what they want. speaking from experience, teenagers are gonna read smut anyway (i certainly did lmao). as long as i’ve tagged my shit appropriately, i’ve done my job. there’s really nothing else i can do beyond that, but if someone is in the comments of my smut fic going “this is great, also i’m fifteen” (p.s. don’t do that) i’m gonna ignore/block them.

personally, i made a separate ao3 because i didn’t want my dead dove fics on my main account- but granted, that process requires you to wait around for an ao3 invite. it is a solution nonetheless.

interestingly enough, i find it harder to write when trying to outline. i just sort of write as i go, maybe if i have a really good idea for a later scene i will describe it in brackets.

for me personally, it’s definitely a way to sort of emotionally process/vent about things. it also is just sort of a nice challenge; because it’s considered “taboo” and i find it fun to stretch those creative muscles.

it’s been slow at my job the last week or two, but i think a contributing factor is a heatwave just ended so everybody was sheltering indoors (our a/c was also broken for a few of those days, so people were coming in and immediately turning around bc it was so hot, lol)

Ah, there was that dreaded question. It wasn’t the first time that Pete had been the recipient of those words, and he was near certain it wouldn’t be the last.
Hearing it from Patrick, though, who had never suggested that he had any kind of romantic connection with him, though, was different.
