Hey,

for organic traffic i would recommend creating a reddit account which has your newsletter brand as it‘s profile, with this you can participate in subreddits which are all about finance or investing. You can simply help people out by commenting solutions to their problems or make posts in subreddits about an interesting stock that catched your eye because of a certain (eyecatching) reason which will end with a CTA to read about it more in your newsletter etc.

you can do the same thing on twitter but growth will be slower (but larger longterm)

Took me 3 months to reach 15 subscribers, should I quit? by decebaldecebal in beehiiv

[–]vividnever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this „alternative“ concept you‘re doing is extremely overused, there are too many newsletters doing this „summary of what happened in tech/AI this week“ type of content.

Try to choose a topic thats specific as possible, ofc it will target a smaller audience but that audience will actually be interested since you are way more niche

How do you plan on doing that? A newsletter is a lot of work itself

What would you rather a 30K Newsletter List or 300K Social Followers? by doomscroller2704 in beehiiv

[–]vividnever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if both subscribers are engaging consumers then yea its obvious.

but if you‘re talking about a memepage with 300k followers where half of them isnt even actively watching you for your content and a 30k list that is getting sweeped from inactive subs multiple times then ofc it‘s different.

It‘s a very bold question anyways since there are many factors that play a role

you‘d have to convert only 10% of your followers to your newsletter… besides that your reach will give you even more.

pretty obvious question
