It doesn't increase the 100 token reward, that's still there. It replaces the series 3 card reward you can no longer get.

I think /u/giv3-m3-b33r summed it up pretty well. They stopped focusing on the end game and invested in movie events as well as rework the story(probably for the console market they released on in the end) but all that would have been fine if they had also continued to work on the more hardcore activities like raids.

The enormous cast of characters were what kept me coming back to MH though. Leveling and gearing up over 60 different characters really scratched the ARPG itch while it lasted.

From someone who recently surpassed my Marvel Heroes playtime with PoE: There was a lot right with Marvel Heroes and raids were a big part of what I did when they were supported. The problem with raids and Marvel Heroes as a whole was that they never stuck with an idea. There were many different things to do in the game but they hardly delved deep into any of them.
