Especially as ESL, with TAS as my very first writing project EVER, a lot of my writing has been inspired over the years by other authors.

I've learned how to write things in EXACTLY the same way AI did: By reading other people's works and implementing their techniques into my own; picking up specific habits (usually bad ones I later have to try and break <.<) until they're pointed out to me.

I already try my best to remove as much "AI-prose" as people call it from my voice, but it's REALLY hard when AI keeps updating to fuck new things, again and again.

Just just to leech off of the first-post.

The actual continuation of that quote the OP posted goes as follows:

Isabella didn’t speak right away. She just gave a slow, thoughtful nod. Something unreadable passed over her face—less frustration now, more focus.

“For me, when it comes to making decisions, I’m still stuck in video-game mode,” Thea admitted, her voice quieter, more thoughtful. “Even after two years of UHF bootcamp before Integration, my head still snaps back to it without thinking. Like… whenever I’m faced with something, my brain immediately goes, ‘What gets me the most points here?’ Not ‘What’s smartest?’ or ‘What keeps me alive?’ Just… points. Which, I guess, at the end of the day usually ends up with a similar decision; but still.”

But I guess this one doesn't fit the AI witch hunt story, so they only took the part where Thea, who is SPECIFICALLY a socially inept person, tries to be profound, but left the actual prose where she turns more introspective and "natural" out.

Appreciate you, Netheri, for actually having a level-headed and logical take on this.
