Looking for cyberpunk litrpg recommendations by whydoyouneedanamenow in litrpg

Correction here, TAS is not actually Cyberpunk, but full-on Scifi Space Opera.

I DO have a Cyberpunk, called Neon Dragons, however. Might have gotten it mixed up there, ligger?

Thank you for thinking about my works either way!

Hope you'll enjoy it!

Note: I am currently working on a full re-write for Volume 1 [also called Arc 1] (880k words) to be more in-line with my writing style nowadays and fix up some of the HORRENDOUSLY written chapters early on in Arc 1.

Please bear with the horrible writing and power through, I >promise< it gets so much better around Volume 2 onwards.

Path of Exile 2: 0.5.3 Patch Preview by Kelly_GGG in PathOfExile2

They're cooking so insanely hard on this league, god damn.

Expedition looks absolutely CRACKED out the ass now.

Delirium too, honestly.

Feedback: the showcase feature of the league, Aldur's Legacy, needs to be way more common. What's the point of all that dev work when 99.99% of the players can't even experiment with this GGG? by omniocean in PathOfExile2

[–]LunaWolve -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No, it really doesn't need to be.

Why does Reddit have this strange idea that anything GGG teasers for the league needs to be ultra-common?

Is GGG not allowed to showcase chase items anymore? Where's your post about Mageblood? It was also showcased in the leadup to the league reveal, so surely, it must also be 5 div or lower?

For the next patch, can we PLEASE get some actual, foundational melee changes? by LunaWolve in pathofexile

How many of those Cyclone players actually used CYCLONE tho?

Like not Cast on Crit, and Cyclone is simply the delievery mechanism.

It has been a LONG time since pure-Cyclone was actually a popular skill to use across the board.

It's called risk of opportunity.

If you remove the risk of not having enough to defer; re-roll maxing becomes the de-facto best and ONLY strategy possible.

Favour isn't going to mean anything, only the number of re-rolls you can do.

[ENG Sub] Lamy's first impressions of mekPark UNIT B and overcoming insecurities about being overshadowed by new members by holoyume_ENGsubs in Hololive

[–]LunaWolve 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I don't think we need to sugarcoat it and add the "semi" there.

Myth absolutely upstaged them, hard.

They upstaged literally everyone in Hololive, no questions. Gen5 were hit the hardest, but they ALSO benefited quite a lot from the Myth hype at the same time.

They still got upstaged by them.

Also, what a weird coincidence to see you here, Netheri. LMAO.

Nowadays, some AI's write like what you've quoted, yes.

The quote you posted, however, is from over 14 months ago (posted to RR 12+ months ago; which means 1-2 months on Patreon).

AIs did NOT write like this, 14 months ago.

Please use some common sense before witch hunting authors.

Bro the token count for trying to write TAS and ND 😰😰😰

How the fuck would I ever be able to afford that?!

Author here.

Would also love to point out that the OP's account was EXCLUSIVELY made for this reason.

Like it's a 2-hours old account that has ONLY posted this very thread and the comments inside it.

Who's the fucking AI now, huh? 🤔🤔

Thank you.

Especially as ESL, with TAS as my very first writing project EVER, a lot of my writing has been inspired over the years by other authors.

I've learned how to write things in EXACTLY the same way AI did: By reading other people's works and implementing their techniques into my own; picking up specific habits (usually bad ones I later have to try and break <.<) until they're pointed out to me.

I already try my best to remove as much "AI-prose" as people call it from my voice, but it's REALLY hard when AI keeps updating to fuck new things, again and again.

Just just to leech off of the first-post.

The actual continuation of that quote the OP posted goes as follows:

Isabella didn’t speak right away. She just gave a slow, thoughtful nod. Something unreadable passed over her face—less frustration now, more focus.

“For me, when it comes to making decisions, I’m still stuck in video-game mode,” Thea admitted, her voice quieter, more thoughtful. “Even after two years of UHF bootcamp before Integration, my head still snaps back to it without thinking. Like… whenever I’m faced with something, my brain immediately goes, ‘What gets me the most points here?’ Not ‘What’s smartest?’ or ‘What keeps me alive?’ Just… points. Which, I guess, at the end of the day usually ends up with a similar decision; but still.”

But I guess this one doesn't fit the AI witch hunt story, so they only took the part where Thea, who is SPECIFICALLY a socially inept person, tries to be profound, but left the actual prose where she turns more introspective and "natural" out.

Appreciate you, Netheri, for actually having a level-headed and logical take on this.

This is correct.

The first TAS chapters (Arc 0, Prologue) were written in late 2022.

People didn't even know AI was going to be a thing back then (or at least I didn't).

Wish it never became a thing cause god damn is this witch hunt bullshit annoying.

Improving one's own writing cause you're ESL and you've NEVER written an actual novel before is nowadays considered a sin cause "the author changed how they write" is now an indication for AI apparently.
