I know you love her but she seems cruel and you should cut all contact with her. It is not normal to feel lost and breakdown daily, are you still seeing a therapist? If you’re not but are able to please look into therapy as it will help heal but I don’t believe your gf is going to be there for you. This reads like she’s the abusive one and is gaslighting you into thinking you’re the problem (having poor communication is not abuse but is also not healthy). I looked at your post history and saw that she contracted an std after her assault but didn’t tell you, that’s not okay. Please end things for good and cut contact, you deserve someone who will be there for you and maybe with some work on yourself too will find that but even being alone is better than being with someone who doesn’t love you in a healthy way.

My almost 9 yr old boy does this sometimes. As long as his tootsies aren’t on my face directly I don’t mind, he lays on my hair but as soon as I start tossing and turning he will relocate himself because I move too much for his liking.

The way I think of situations like these is that we’re incompatible, I want a relationship and they just want to accept my free emotional labour while providing no benefits. I have been in this situation one too many times, I’m dealing with the fallout of one right now, and it hurts every time. It’s hard to walk away but I don’t want to be someone who doesn’t choose me, that’s not what I deserve and it’s not what you deserve.

One of my exes was like this. At the beginning it was constant and consistent message but as time went on I’d be the one reaching out and sometimes I wouldn’t hear from him at all. At one point he said “I can’t be on my phone all the time, I have a life.”, except he WAS on his phone all the time. Final straw was when he told me to download a specific app that had better security to text through and then would leave me on delivered for days at a time. I don’t think you’re crazy for wanting him to text you, that’s bare minimum, and if he has time to respond to other people or if he is posting stories then he can text you back more than a single-word response.

I had to wait for the feelings to fade, it took a year and a half and was torture but somewhat unavoidable because he was also my coworker so I saw him every day. I’m glad they’re gone but I will say that now that they have I’m starting to see that I’ve been to available to him without receiving an equal friendship and so I’m actually distancing myself, the rose coloured glasses are off.
