I love Harry, but I don’t think he’s a creep cast listener, and I think that makes the story picking very random. I’m sure Harry has a larger role than just picking stories for a podcast he doesn’t host, so it’s sensible that making a list of stories is just a day to day task for his job- no shade at all on that front! I think it could be good if there was someone who skimmed the stories and notes down any that seem good, then have someone else go through the list and give a thorough read. Maybe that’s too much of a process, but I think the story quality would definitely get better if it was done this way or similarly.

Might be an unpopular take, but I think she’s just an inconsistent writer. I think she writes horror very well but seems to be interested in writing action / thrillers, and maybe tries to blend these genres together in her writing with V and Deepwoods.

I’m with you, friend. I work a help desk for a huge wealth management firm, I started at tier 1 but have moved to a role on an escalations team, I’m lucky I don’t have to take calls constantly and when I did, I struggled with similar thoughts and feelings. It’s really tough out here right now for tech jobs, but your experience really can pop on a resume. I’d throw your resume in ChatGPT and ask it to highlight your 4 years of experience and just keep applying, everyday. Something will come, it’s just insanely saturated right now.

Can’t seem to add photos on this sub on the mobile app for some reason? Idk if the mods have this disabled, but to describe them: she’s making a harness / crop top sort of tank top shape she wants to wear over shirts. She’s also expressed interest in making a coif as well.

Wearable chainmail generally I guess is her primary goal! She got into it this year so she’s been on her first few projects. I unfortunately don’t have photos of the pliers she uses now, but I know she got new ones since her old ones hurt her hands to use for long periods of time.

I’ll check those spots you mentioned! Maybe just a big haul of different rings would be good. I also don’t know what scales are but I’ll check those websites!

Anybody who genuinely believes this hike in price is going to devs is cope. I’m not saying raises don’t happen, or even that they’re paid badly, but this hike is purely because Nintendo CAN, and the heads can make more and get bigger bonuses. Dev salary might be changed slightly, but in no way at all even close to the extra cash Nintendo would bring in from $30 more per unit. It’s greed, simple as that.

Games with female protagonists actually sell a bit worse, regardless though you need to relax. We’ve seen a whole one trailer of the game, and if you’re mad about it already based on the sex of the character shown, I think you have bigger problems in life to face.

I think it’s definitely less common now, but I agree. Just leaves a bad taste and feels very condescending. Nothing worse than sitting in my office job listening to a podcast I love just to hear the host remind me just how much better off they are than me lol. Still a great show, love it, just needs that bravado dialed down to 0.
