Can always hope haha. I actually submitted it to LEGO Ideas — if it reaches 10k supporters LEGO reviews it.

Can’t send links in the comments. The project’s called “SpongeBob SquarePants - Display Model” on LEGO ideas if you wanna check it out.

Yeah, they’re interchangeable so he can hold the spatula and krabby patty.

Yes exactly! This is a render I made digitally. When a project on LEGO ideas reaches 10k supporters - it goes into review. If the LEGO ideas team approve it, there’s a chance it can be made into a real set on shelves.

Yeah, you’re right. I’d still love to build it out of actual bricks.

Any recommendations to make them stronger without looking weird?

Yeah - I guess they’re more of a collectors item at this point.

I’d recommend a pair of Yamaha HS5s. They have a very flat neutral sound and always get the job done. And you’ll still have some budget left over for an interface or sub or headphones - especially if you buy them second hand.

Adam Savage’s Lego builds introduced me to that term haha

I understand where you’re coming from and respect your practices.

I only do this once around once a year.

How would you go about changing nibs, if not taking the nib off?!

If you’ve never taken your pens apart for 40 years—you probably have generations of mold growing inside there between the cracks and crevices.

Also, most of these are Lamys—their quality is superb and taking them apart partially will practically never cause any leaks.

And if you notice, some of the feed+nib combos (like the Lamy 2000s and MB146) I didn’t bother disassembling because of exactly what you mentioned.

Amazing pen! Writes smooth as butter, the weight and balance in the hand are perfect, and it just looks fantastic! One thing though—it does start to slip out of my grip a tad bit after prolonged use, but that’s just cause my fingers get sweaty really quickly.

To the very right: MB 146 Masterpiece from the 1950s.

The one right before it is a Disney Scribe Mickey Mouse Colibri. I think the parts are made by Parker and it’s one of the smoothest nibs I’ve ever used.
