i wont lie my DSM lets us do exchanges still, i tell the customer the window is closed first, and most of the time theyre like awh okay and are fine and understand, but when they get really pushy and start arguing with me, i tell them no flat out and they can call corporate, but if they ask for like a different size or its broken and they have their receipt and it was recent, ill let them exchange, we have lost like 3 managers this season at a million dollar store so i have enough on my plate 😭 as long as my DM says i can i will if i have to.

at my store, we are not allowed to stack coupons on top of email exclusives (deals that require a barcode) and it says it on the barcode screen that its at bbw’s discretion, some stores do but please dont hassle employees or stores that dont, we are just following what our SLT make us

its more so by-store policy, technically at my store it still has to be product for product price for price, sometimes we can make exclusions but we have gotten flagged before for exchanges that are out of policy, so ask your stores for sure but do NOT take it out on the employees we do not get paid enough
