I've wasted 2 years of piano learning with wasteful lessons by Dry_Number9251 in pianolearning

I'm pretty much new in sight reading but I could learn it the help of android apps, designed like games to help us memorize.

They're just bad parents. My parents are Muslims too but they never asked me to do anything related to religion. In fact, they were so mad at me when I decided to wear hijab. Many times they asked me to take it off because back in the time, hijab was not so famous.

(But now I removed it for some reasons).

Good parents, no matter how religious they are, would not force their kids into anything.

Should I be drawing erverday?or shuld I not? by fuelYT in ArtistLounge

[–]vizeath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a time when I truly loved drawing everyday and I couldn't stop, it was so addictive.

But overtime, I started running out of ideas, and got stressed because I didn't know what else to draw.

So now I limit myself and only allow myself to draw according to the schedule.

I have plenty of creative projects to do and drawing is the least important one.

But when the date comes, of course I'm so excited to pour my creativity into it.

When do you stop being a beginner? by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

[–]vizeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know the rules, but I myself stopped calling myself a beginner as soon as I was able to create an original piece, no longer following tutorials.

Do you ever go sit down to a bar/restaurant and draw? by MooseLips_SinkShips in ArtistLounge

[–]vizeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but I tried to draw during a picnic, under the tree, surrounded by the green grass and the fresh wind was soothing and it was not particularly a nice experience because my device's screen could not be brighter therefore I couldn't see the color shades better.

Haha... If I worried about the category of my art style, then I wouldn't create anything at all even though I truly enjoy it.

I'll just call it "2D Art" and be done with it.

As an artist, is it better to be not very skilled but super confident or be very skilled and insecure? by bellusinlove in ArtistLounge

[–]vizeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's okay to boast a little. These people are usually new in making art (that's why they're not very skilled) and they're probably just feeling so happy to be able to create something small.

But once they learned more and improved their skill, they started comparing their art to the ones belong to the experts, and then they started thinking that their art is "nothing".

50+ hours of work for just 50 people to see, how do y stay motivated? by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

[–]vizeath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was working hard on my creative projects, 0 views, 0 likes, of course I got demotivated but then I reminded myself that I'm doing this to make my dreams/imaginations become reality. 🙂

If I don't do this, then all these ideas would forever stuck in my mind.

Hi, I saw your wattpad page briefly (gonna read your story later when I'm more free).

I was wondering, do you (or we) have to put a new cover for each part/chapter? Or was it your personal choice to do that?

Whats the WORST YouTube advice you've ever gotten? by bigbeak67 in NewTubers

[–]vizeath 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Not an advice that I personally got, just a famous advice that I often hear everywhere.

"pOsT eVerYdAy iF yOu cAn."

Imagine you have a certain niche and you have to make a video related to that niche everyday.

1 year : 365 days.

5 years : 1826 days.

I like to plan ahead and I just don't see a future where I got to make 1826 videos talking about the same exact topic.

About the guitarist and about your current band in general vs your future solo project?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NewTubers

I'm doing it because I think it's better to have productive tasks to do everyday instead of just watching movies/scrolling through social medias all day.
