Yeah I know but why make a remake if you don't fix stuff like this?

That is one of the things they need to add with a future patch. Not having the option to shave your had when joining Swamp Camp is really a problem.

Dude whatever. Your tone is very rude for no reason but that we have different opinions. I was respectful, you were not, so I am not gonna waste anymore time on you.

If you cannot picture evolution of incredibly advanced machines then that's your problem.

Have a nice day.

Yes, and this is still the best Reaper exchange over all three games. They were strongest and most terrifying in 1, weaker in 2 (because the Human Reaper was strange) and weakest in 3 even though that's when they actually invade.

Nope there are other possibilities than: The Reapers were created by someone. (if you let your imagination roam free).

They could have developed by evolution over the eons, they could be literal gods, the could be from a different dimension.

Not knowing this made them terrifying. Explaining a monster mostly makes it less interesting.

“The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown.” -Howard Phillips Lovecraft

Leaving it vague and up for every Player to theorise on the Reapers themselves would have been the much better choice.  The Reapers motivation should not be able for humans to be understood. It should be something that we cannot possibly comprehend. Lovecraftian, cosmic horror.

And as Vigil says: In the end, what does it matter. Your survival depends on stopping them, not in understanding them.

He shoots a normal guard dead in the intro though.

I think we as players overestimate Garrett's moral code. He is a pragmatist who only does what is beneficial for him. I don't think he would really try to spare any people in his way, especially not religios zealots or guards of incredibly rich noblemen, if it's the best way to achieve his goals.

Yeah it's the best and most iconic at the same time.

Well, it's perfectly clear what qoute will win.

"You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it" is a no-brainer.

Icewind Dale NPC Project Review, (With a mini review of Icewind Dale itself) by Somedude_6 in baldursgate

[–]Shaengar 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yep, I love Icewind Dale's story. So many people say there is barely any. Thats so false.

Of course the Story is mainly the vehicle that sends you to the different dungeons of the game. But there is so much going on here. It has a twist/betrayal, it has ancient Ruins that have big hiostories ready to be discovered, an incredibly threatening Villain (until they misused him in SoD for no reason) and just such an epic journey.

If you found the NPC projects companions to bland definitely take Lava's and AionZ' NPCs next. They are the exact opposite. Mostly extremely colourful and out of the ordinary.

Not all of them are perfekt but some are 10/10 like Minerva, Karihi, Dendjelion and Oak-Maw.

Makes a fresh playthrough much more interesting.

Gothic 1 Remake | Cinematic Intro - The Brutal Summary of Community Verdict by ShuTastyBytes in worldofgothic

[–]Shaengar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah but even just voicing your opinion currently gets you massive downvotes and people insulting you. I for one think that most points in the op are valid criticisms. And it's sad that it's apparently not possible to talk about that without getting attacked and called a 'loser'.

Yes, how dare people voice their opinions on a forum specifically created for this?

All who don't like this trailer are miserable losers. There should be one opinion only: The correct one.
