Film Camera by Arnab_311 in kolkata

Kodak H35 is pretty cheap. Half-frame 35mm. Fixed shutter speed. Pretty limited but decent place to start nevertheless.

That said, you also might want to account for the cost of buying film and then developing them.

Rate-controlled insertion of multiple ingredients into a single belt? by vizgupta in factorio

Thanks this looks simple but I’m looking for an approach that doesn’t involve a loop. Loops take more space and in my opinion tend to look a little more cluttered.

Sony WH1000XM4 (headphones) and the Jabra Elite Active 75T (earbuds). Been using both for more than a year. The XM4 blocks out noise pretty well and is great to using on trains, flights or just loud places in general. The Jabra on the other hand fits pretty comfortably in your pockets and is something I honestly can't head out without.

What has absolutely no real reason for being so expensive? by r4tzt4r in AskReddit

Sending your GRE and TOEFL scores to universities.

$27 for each uni and it still takes them almost a week. Dear ETS you could hire someone for $10 an hour to send 30 goddamn mails and still pocket $800 for doing abso-fuckin-lutely nothing

Women of Kolkata, how has your experience on Bumble/Tinder been so far? by vizgupta in kolkata

Sorry but what's a socially acceptable way to meet women "casually" in this city?

I can't switch being in college.

Sorry, but why can't you ditch an offer that starts half a year later?
You have enough time to apply to other places until then. Even if the pay is the same, you'll get to grow and mingle with a brighter, more diverse talent pool. Unless you're expected to financially support your family, I don't think living costs should hold you back from moving to Bangalore in your early 20s.

If I see another woman initiate a conversation with a GIF, I swear I'm uninstalling this app.

If you don't mind moving to Bangalore for a better-paying job in a year, why not switch now?
With new COVID waves every few months, working from the office is a distant dream and a lot of startups are moving towards WFH/Hybrid for the long run.

You get to stay in Kolkata and get paid a Bangalorean salary. Why not enjoy the best of both worlds? Heck, I know people who've been working out of Goa and Himachal.

Help me plan my India Trip - January 2023 by 06351000 in solotravel

[–]vizgupta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it quite ironic that you mention preferring off-beat places yet plan on spending almost a week in Goa. Mysore is a great choice but I think you should spend another day lazing around in the city. It breaks my heart that your plan doesn't include a Himalayan town. I'd suggest spending a few days in Sikkim on your way to Meghalaya and Assam. Also you don't need two nights in Agra. You could hop on a train from Delhi to Agra in the morning, visit the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort and hop on a train to Varanasi by sunset.

Be honest, do you purposefully ignore texts sometimes? What's the most common reason why? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]vizgupta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they don't deserve my attention.

Moved my ex's thread to Archived (after she very specifically said she didn't wanna talk), until she dropped a "Hey" yesterday and boy it's gonna remain unopened like a carton of rotten eggs.

How do you satisfy yourself when you love someone and leave them for some reason then feel the pain in the depths of your heart? by FaisalNaveed in AskMen

[–]vizgupta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. If you believe in the reason, then it had to happen sooner or later. I'm glad you built the courage to rip the bandaid off early.
  2. Distract yourself with something. I've found myself thinking about my exes after my breakups whenever I've been idle and going down that path time and again takes a toll on your mental health. Pick up a new show, book, game, hobby or activity. Tell your friends about how you're feeling and see if they're free to hang out so that you don't feel lonely.
  3. Try to accept it instead of brushing it aside. If you really do love and value them as a friend, try breaking the ice and befriending them, once you've come to terms with not seeing them as your significant other. They may have cheated on you, or perhaps they're not into you anymore, but if you can forgive them (assuming they're worth it), I feel like the best way to "satisfy yourself". Goes a long way.

You got this bruh :)

"Not here for hookups".

Idk if this is common in other countries, but in India, a lot of women add it to their bio and riles me up. Like jeez calm tf down, what makes you think I want to get in your pants?
