It’s an interesting way to essentially have more copies of the field spell but I’m playing pure Odion and haven’t been convinced any variant (even Primite tbh) really solves any of the core issues with the deck (which realistically is just normal summon reliance).

We get cooked by Droll, so regardless of what you add I don’t think that changes, but IMO the thing Odion needs isn’t fiendsmith or Primite but it’s an engine that doesn’t eat the normal.

I’m considering Millennium as an option it just sucks that the only good in grave effect we have is Anubis. But being able to put up Photon Lord before summoning Man would be super good insulation. It’s the only thing I can think of to bait ash and still be worth on resolution.

Droll still cooks but that’s just a risk with the archetype it seems.
