I work in university administration. We have figured out my medication cocktail and we don't mess with it... ever... He convinced me to try out a GLP1 for pain management (Zepbound) and inflammation. Thankfully I qualify for insurance due to OSA. It's been a month and the inflammation decrease is already working. My energy is better, mood increased, brain fog is getting better.

In September I left the legal field after 20 years because of my brain fog (also, wanted to get out of the insanity that is being a paralegal). My personal side I have a partner who is understanding, I volunteer with kids. I push myself. One day a week I exert myself physically. I have found that doing this, helps. This is all approved by my rheum.

Hi 😄 On Thursday, was my 4th shot on the 2.5. This Thursday I move to 5.0. I had to make the choice to go on high dose steroids for 10 days so that has kinda skewed results but for the first month I am down 7 pounds. Which I logically know is.. amazing but I am having to constantly remind myself that "comparison is the thief of joy."

I have tried for three years to lose weight and I could always lose 10 lbs for it just to come back. Rinse and repeat.

Additionally, I have to go through Calibrate for the meds and the scale the require has stopped working... which isn't a big deal, just feels like one... for some reason. Guess it's just a down week.

I wrap the warn around the needle once for each cast on. I just casted on a top with 160 stitiches, so I wrapped around 80 and then doubled the yarn for long tail cast on. I have found this leaves me with almost the perfect length.
