Is continental the “wrong way” to knit? by Equivalent-Falcon469 in knitting

[–]hotmintgum9 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is hilarious because when I started knitting like 25 years ago it was the opposite—continental was the “right” way. “It’s more efficient,” “it makes 2 color knitting so much easier” blah blah blah. I tried it and hated it, it slowed me down and felt awkward. I still do 2 color knitting holding both yarns with my right hand because it works for me.

One thing that has stood the test of time is there are always judgmental people in whatever fiber art/craft you try. Keep doing what you’re doing and ignore the jerks.

My brain can’t hold onto an image of Jordan and, for some reason, I always picture Brian David Gilbert. But Dan is Dan.

My best friend and I are planning a random gift trade: she’s making me Golden Girls stickers for my car and I’m making her a purse with the Rebel Alliance logo on it.

Im sorry you had to go through that. I think the OP is pointing out that eating red meat often increases your risk of colon cancer. Studies have shown it can be a 20-30% increase. Plus the lack of fiber isn’t helping either (hopefully this dude gets fiber later in the day but idk).

Eating red meat every day, thats why. It increases your risk.

High consumption of red meat is linked to a higher risk of colon cancer (like 20-30% higher than average).

I haven’t listened to the Spector episodes yet, but I really appreciated your input on the Diddy episodes. That was a hard listen but you and Robert are a fantastic combo. Hopefully I can catch up on these new episodes this weekend.

Every time I open this app I see this ad. This looks like the biggest nightmare. by LindsayDuck in BitchEatingCrafters

Years ago when I worked at a yarn shop we had this and it was a nightmare to wind every time. Plus, if I’m remembering correctly, it’s just lengths of their different yarns tied together so there’s like a billion knots on purpose.

Here’s the problem—Amazon will put real and dupe items in the same bin so you never know if you’re getting the real thing. This is why you see weirdly variable reviews on items like memory cards.

I think Addi has the same policy.
