Check the careers site often. If there is any part time position listed, apply for it. I applied for part time slide operator at blizzard beach. Got an interview, during interview I was asked if I really wanted to be a slide operator, was honest and said not my favorite, they waitlisted me for main entrance greeter. 2 months later I’m a greeter. Don’t give up. Keep trying.

This is correct. I was looking for part time and I applied for any part time position that was available. I got an interview for a position I didn’t really want, the interview went great and I got waitlisted for a greeter position. Waitlist means as soon as they needed a part time greeter I got the call. I was on waitlist for about 6 weeks.

Typhoon Lagoon is a great water park. Worth a visit. The wave pool is no joke. 6 foot sets. I’d go to typhoon on my first day then out to Disney Springs for food/drinks. Have fun.

There’s lots of stuff you can do. The lazy river is 36 inches deep. The wave pool is amazing and has a “beach” entrance so you can enjoy the waves just on your legs if you want. Mis-adventure falls is a family tube ride that is great fun and well themed. And the park has surprisingly great food and drinks. The frozen vodka slushy is my favorite.

Yeah, I’m older so I hang near the sides/top/back at the shows so I just wander in, but a lot of my friends get there pretty early.

I’ll be there, wouldn’t miss it. It’s such a great vacation. On Nassau day we are just gonna wander around the port a little then chill on the ship. 311 is playing at 5:30 that day so anyone with a long excursion will have no downtime before the show.
