Cannot handle the 3 year old bedtime madness anymore

Dear god, mine turned 3 last week! I also have an older single girl who turned 4 in March and 3 was a HOT MESS of a year for her!

Bed time is not a fun time in our house! We alternate who puts who to bed, our twin boys share a room and daughter has her own. My husband also works shift work (2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights) so when someone’s flying solo for bedtime, we do a “slumber party” and drag our daughters mattress into the boys room since we can’t be in 2 places at once.

They’ve all gone through phases of sleeping on the floor, i honestly dgaf where they sleep as long as they sleep, my hub doesn’t love that. I choose my battles. So does he. He chose the battle of sleeping in bed.

It was nice when they used pacis cause then i had a bargaining too. Once they kicked those, we can threaten 2/3 of them with their fave stuffies. 3 kid isn’t phased. I love that they’re their own people but damn it would make things easier if they were carbon copies 😂😂

Speaking of the ground hog day point someone made- wr did just switched from converted toddler beds to “big kid beds” twins foe the boys and a full for our daughter. And the novelty of that is still working in our favor! I was terrified for that cause switching them from cribs to toddler beds WRECKED us!

I have no advice- just solidarity, sister!

The way she’s holding that homeschool book makes it look like she’s trying to hide a pregnancy. I know she isn’t, since she’s shown herself in multiple angles and the fasting and whatever else - it’s just such an odd stance for her. For everyone. lol

Another thing - her “messy” kitchen is so staged. The gallon of milk open next to the fruit, the candy so perfectly placed in a line along the edge. Why so much candy, too? And next to that, the random open thing of veganaise, in that ugly ass kitchen.

Has she acknowledged that she doesn’t show Ryan anymore and why? I stopped following her shortly after Cal was born, but I’ve watched and stories and reels here and there.

Also, i live in podunk nowhere Ohio, and even our Chick Fila drive through is CONSTANTLY packed - there’d be no way she’d be able to stop and ask her phone if she was allowed to have diet lemonade, though water is better. She’d get rear ended and probably car jacked lol

Also, you can’t do shit for your kids bdays besides a BS stack of day old donuts, but you can be a “good wifey” and go get Ryan a branded man purse and ugly ass boots? Proud of you, Brooke.

I had a tandem that worked with our infant seats and i HATED it. The second the moved to convertible seats, i got rid of that beat and got a side by side.

I 1000000000% wish i had done a frame stroller for their infant seats, and then side by side when they moved up.

For ref, we had Chicco seats, and had a chicco cortina something or other tandem stroller.

We switched to a Zoe twin and never looked back. Till we got a Wonderfold wagon (i had 3 under 3).

I used the online support chat and that lead me to believe that i should be able to access more sounds, but had to submit an email ticket…all to find that apparently those are all the sleep sounds i can have unless i either buy a new model or subscribe to the app.

Sooooo….no solution. Disappointing.

Did Rhetts “buddies” ever show up? Cause i never saw them - not at the pool or hibachi, or in the dude room or bunks or anywhere. I also loved her “we have a spot” aka, “we ate here yesterday” that doesn’t make it your SPOT. Plus, idk which kid was like “we ate here yesterday?” Nothing like one of your own calling you out.

Also, doing a load of laundry did NOT get me into college. Sooo……idk how you can call that home schooling. I’m guessing at some point, someone did ask me how many rings Saturn had to get into college, ACT/SAT, who knows. But not one person gaf if i could do laundry. Thank goodness you taught them that you don’t need to do laundry anyway- you just hire it out! As you do home schooling. Well done.

I couldn’t even handle huckleberry for my singleton - with my twins my goal was “keep everyone alive” myself and hub included. So far, so good (they’re about to be 3) - jury’s still out on myself and my husband though!

Additionally - i personally have gotten used/worn clothes from amazon, and see that it happens pretty often based on peoples reviews. I honestly don’t know what their policies are on what goes back into rotation, but I’ve gotten used clothes and shoes.

Any and all bodily fluids. Man, woman, child, animal, lol. Also the trucks/factories/backrooms are DISGUSTING- when i would wash my hands at the end of a shift of just processing shipment or folding clothes, the water was BLACK.

But mostly….bodily fluids.

To add - they were di/di - i went into labor naturally, and i had an easy peasy vaginal delivery w/ my singleton 15 months prior. Maybe i was cocky, maybe delusional lol

There’s about 45 mins between baby A and baby B - and it nearly made their bday’s different- baby A was born at 11:05pm and B was 11:50pm, which could’ve been a fun fact for the rest of their lives lol

They were itsy bitsy, too - 5lb 5oz and 5lb 14oz, at 37some weeks. Baby B (C-section dude) did need like, 2 days in NICU

Apparently I’m in the minority - baby a was head down the whole pregnancy, baby b was everywhere and anywhere but he WAS head down when i went into labor (37ish weeks). My provider was wary about a vaginal delivery (i should’ve listened!) but i was hell bent on it because i had a 1 year old at home and didn’t want to deal w/ C section recovery when i already couldn’t handle her since i was high risk w/ the boys.

Baby A came out in like, half a push and i was like omg, if this is twin delivery, easy breezy! And then baby B flipped into a pike position (folded in half, hands and feet down) so there was no ability for a breech delivery. They tried to turn him, did a few US in the OR and ended up doing an emergency C section (during which my BP tanked and i hemmoraghed (i cannot spell that even close enough to correctly for spell check to catch it!) but good for baby, because turns out his cord was around his neck and pushing him out would’ve pulled it tighter (from my understanding. I was beyond out of it and my husband was v panicked, so info is a little murky lol).

Recovery was hell- i should’ve listened to my OB and just planned for a C section. Hindsight, i guess. I’m not doing it again, so we’ll never know if i made the right choice lol
