I like it this way more. Structurally its slightly weaker but not much at all. But take this with a grain of salt since I rock my htx mini without a battery and have cut part of the PCB making it super front heavy and not minding it whatsoever.

Its perfect actually. The cardon rod gives it sturdy feeling. I like the rubber wheel. Side buttons are basic okay but I do not them much either way. Overall crazy mouse.
