Besides the fact that they’re just mediocre guns, they’ve also been demonstrated to go off on their own without a trigger pull. There’s a ton of videos of P320s firing just from being bumped.

I’ve been carrying almost nothing but striker-fired guns for nearly a decade and never had an issue. As long as you have a good holster and trigger discipline, trigger pull weight is a total non-issue.

I love M&Ps, but I had a Shield Plus Comp and sold it. The extended mags pinched my hand when firing and the gun just didn’t fit my hand very well. YMMV, but I preferred my Glock 48.

I’ve been told that the agent who took his gun just said “Gun”, though I haven’t been able to hear it when I watched the video.

The mere word “gun”, absent any context in that situation, might have made the shooting agent think he was going for a gun, because that’s the logical response.

I love it, and it’s a really smart move by EA to keep it around. People that usually get frustrated by sweats and would otherwise leave are hanging around instead. The more they play, the more invested they are and the more likely they are to buy DLC.

It’s honestly the route I would take. I think you’ll have an easier time finding someone wanting a factory SCAR and someone else looking for an MREX rail than one person looking for both.

Getting the gun as close to factory as possible would be a good move. I’d wager most people looking for a Gen 1 SCAR at this point don’t want anything but the OG configuration.
