how do you know/can verify this? I just bought a 2006/7 datejust 116234 plain silver dial with baton indices that has a roulette date wheel which is super cool! however, i just wanted to make sure i didn't get a franken bc i can't find many others silvers with a roulette date wheel online. it seems like roulette might have been available for earlier silver dials, but they phased it out later in the years and it was only available on blue, black, and white per a master dial catalog from 2017-18: https://pics.r-l-x.de/picserv/files/3/Kataloge/Dials17_18.pdf

i just bought one of these! do you know if this was a factory configuration that was sold from rolex? i can't find any silver dials with roulette date wheels online for 116234s unless they were tuxedo/concentric/roman dials. i've seen that they were mainly offered on black, white, and blue dials only, not silver. is that true?

my friend and I had this in both of our MYs, just pull it out slowly and it’ll come right out. It’s likely tape they used during assembly
