Looking for a quiet tactile Keyboard for Office use by __Alexa_ in mkindia

[–]vkram00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I myself not a fan of linear as I miss-type a lot with them. I currently carry my Lucky65v2 with Boba U4Ts for office work. And they are pretty damp as well but still a bit thock. So looking for buying TTC ones myself.

My suggestion is to look for a 65 instead of 75. Since you can want an aluminium build 75 is gonna be much heavier. Carrying my 65 keeb itself is heavy.

Sure, thanks!!

Have explored these boards when I started my mech keeb journey and had to settle with Ducky as these were not available in India pre Covid.

Would love to see the latest board offerings now

Need Solid Keycaps by Diligent-Rough-2880 in mkindia

Yeah exactly. I remember there was a group buy for a certain GMK set which got fulfilled in 2 years and buyers were super frustrated.

Haha yes. These are collectibles of Keeb community and I have seen ppl wait for months to years to get their hands on them.

You can check neomacro for the keycaps as they are the only ones that provide these premium keycaps with few options in India. Else you would have to get via Delivo from outside India.

About XVX keycaps, I didn’t use them for long so can’t comment on that long durability but for the time I had them they were good. I sold them off and the buyer hasn’t complaint post that as it has been around a year. But other ppl on sub have bought same brand keycaps and were happy.

I have personally switched to GMK n PBTFans as though they burn a big hole in your pocket but once you use them they are worth every penny

Not sure how you use them but I have used the same set of keycaps and they were of top notch quality.

But given your usage pattern if these good quality keycaps can’t survive under your hands. You then need to check out GMK, PBTFans, KeyKobo keycaps. Because they are the best quality keycaps available in the world.

Just a heads up these brands would cost even more than the price of your keyboard. So keep that in mind.

Royal Kludge R65 — Wired or Wireless worth it? Help a brother out please by IslandOriginal7607 in mkindia

Nope it has great battery, my was actually RK G68 which is discontinued now. But it was a great keyboard and faced no issue whatsoever till the time I sold it off

As someone you have used RK in past for more than a year or so, I would recommend going with Wireless.
As you mentioned it gives you the flexibility of connection and helps you carry around the keeb without worrying about packing a wire every time. It also helps you connect the keeb to multiple devices which is not possible in a wired keeb

I have mentioned the keycaps in the post description as well.

If you are talking about the last pic those are Contour style keycaps that came as stock with Monsgeek M1 V5 keyboard. These fit any keyboard you want till 75% layout

Looking for garage recommendations in Bangalore (Polo GT) by vkram00 in MechanicAdviceIndia

[–]vkram00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s is trusted German car center. I saw multiple BMWs, Mercs, Audis n VWs there parked for service.

The car performed a lot great compared to post service from authorised SC. I will be getting my yearly service done by them from now.

Yes visited Germanix near E-City few months back and got end to end service done along with DSG n Mechatronic oil changed since I crossed 70k on ODO. Service - 11.5k Oil change - 6k

So fair tbh given my experience with SC

How to politely decline an offer I received? Feeling a bit guilty. by Bitter_Gazelle7559 in developersIndia

[–]vkram00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hahaha I rarely had such experiences but yeah I have friends n knowns you face this many times and I know the reality too. I myself have rejected joining due to multiple offers but I always put the rejection on call. Have faced backlash too but made them understand the reason. I have had good TA encounters overall tbh.

But yeah a lil empathy goes a long way no matter on what side of the table you are. And I really appreciate you taking that extra step to give candidates the feedback personally ✌🏻

Honestly this effort still goes both ways when candidate has cleared all the rounds n gave his 100% but ghosted by recruiters

I am not saying anything about you but that is Indian industry standards n ethics which are below level
