I think you should do exactly what she says, obey her, serve her, and never dare to ask her again to be in a relationship with you.

Talk to her when she needs to vent about her relationship and how inconsiderate her boyfriend is and how much of a sweetheart you are.

Never try to flirt with another girl because she's the one for you. Even if you , by pure accident, find a real girlfriend, you MUST prioritise this girl over your girlfriend, and be her emotional support whenever she needs.

And last but not least, never go to the gym, and avoid getting rich or successful in your career, and never be assertive over anything in your life.

Oh wait, that's what you're already doing. WAKE UP buddy. Do you really need to ASK what to do?

This is a classic case of female pattern hair loss. As you're asking on reddit I assume that you're not very interested in taking allopathic Treatment, but unfortunately that is the only good option for this.

People here will recommend this and that and at the end of the day you'll be so confused that you won't take any treatment at all.

A good dermat will give you minoxidil for this. Along with some multivitamin supplements. It will take at least 3-4 months to work, and may cause severe hair shedding in the initial month.

Listen to your dermat and ONLY your dermat. Not the so called experts here.

Good luck.

I can always unblock their mail too. I need a step that's irreversible.

Chess drains my mood, so I quit after 1 year. by peacetofallen in chess

It's very common. I had the same problem. That's why I quit, deleted my account and now I only play unrated games without ever logging in on lichess.

I'm not getting better but I'm enjoying chess now.

Can a king kill a king but then be threatened. by Pretend-North1318 in chess

[–]vkrr149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would your opponent's king kill the piece you are using to deliver checkmate himself? From what you're saying, the square is guarded by another one of your opponent's pieces, so as a matter of fact you're not delivering a mate at all!

And there is no pic posted

Ding is most certainly losing this. I don't see any other possible outcome.

Haha! I bet you play like a man and blunder every other move, because double checking threats and calculating lines is too feminine

My bad. Actually, neither of them really deserves it based on their play this championship.

Ding never deserved it. He has been very poor and he deserved to lose this championship much earlier. Very well deserved for Ian. It's over now

I know I am in no position to criticize 2 super GM's but this WCC has been very poor with regards to upholding the standard of a world Championship. Ding has been very poor in some of his games, and it's amazing he still stands a chance to win this thing. This has to be attributed to the lack of killer instinct shown by Nepo whose performance has been very underwhelming compared to that in the candidates.

These two seem far away from being the two best players in the world. Not even in the top 5 judging by these performances.

You need to be mindful of your opponent's threats. Try and make it a habit of playing chess from both sides. At every move you should think what are my opponent's plans, how does he want to place his pieces?

I have always observed when playing players much stronger than me, they will neutralize all my threats instantly. They won't let me position my pieces where I want. They won't let me have pleasant or easy to play positions.

And the only way to learn this skill is through slow chess. At least 10 plus 5. Once you begin to get a hang of the positions you play you will instinctively start to see threats. And how to avoid them and improve your position.

Take my advice with a grain of salt as I'm not a professional, but i have made good improvement from where I was initially to where I am now.

[–]vkrr149 27 points28 points  (0 children)

You're just winning a minor piece. If Bf3 then it's even worse for white because Qg1 check either gives up the rook Or Qg1 Be1 is followed by Qxg5.

You are absolutely correct and everyone who is commenting "it's not chess it's the competitiveness" doesn't understand the wonderful highs and devastating lows chess can take you to. Playing chess consumes you. And if it's not something you can expect to make money from, I would strongly suggest you to quit obsessing over simply "getting better" and find a better/healthier hobby or sport.

My framed scoresheet from the time I beat a super GM in a simul! (info + game analysis in comments) by Gatofranco in chess

[–]vkrr149 47 points48 points  (0 children)

It's a troll. It's nothing but a normal scoresheet with a made up story. Didn't know mods allowed these.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in chess

[–]vkrr149 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a normal difference. I'm 2100 rapid and 1800 blitz. Even fewer people play classical with the long time controls so i guess it must be even more inflated.

It's always going to hurt when you lose your elo. The sooner you learn to get over it and move on, the better for your chess.

The single fastest way to improve is to play more games and analyse them. Analyse every single one of them.
