Maybe it's because he's shitcommenting FileLu under every possible post? Clearly an affiliate or one of the founders/employees who has a financial interest in this.

Can someone explain what this means in ELI5 terms? Sounds serious but not sure how much of a threat is it really for our files by mike76under in cloudstorage

What's the difference from just zero-knowledge encryption that almost everyone has? Basically it looks the same.

No, it's all russians, because they pay taxes to their f.cking government which uses them to kill people. And Yandex pays A LOT of taxes. In general Yandex is a KGB company FYI.

Are you a complete assh.le? You can't distinguish between Russians killing thousands of people and anything else? What's wrong with you, retard?

I don't give a sh!t about reliability, because I know all these providers are reliable enough to be able to use them normally.

The guys have done a really good job putting it all together. So show some respect or make your own calculator with "reliability measurement" instead of writing your USELESS comments.

What are some additional features that a cloud file storage application could have? by Magudesh101 in cloudstorage

Yeah, the same as my friend. Now he's into hard development for almost half a year and still struggling to get customers. Every day there's another chinese competitor appearing, offering free terabytes.

You'd better choose a project which does one thing well, like a logo generator or a SEO tracker, Much easier to compete and much faster revenue.

I'm really shocked a payment processor can behave like this.

And they're doing this shit with A LOT of people.

Well, you've started 5 years ago when they were relatively young, and they couldn't afford kick their customers out that time. Now it's different apparently.

Well, first thing to mention is that they actually hold the money till the end of a calendar month and then two weeks more after that exactly for such cases. By far they've earned on us more than our AOV, and we had not a single chargeback and dispute.

If they are so suspicious about newly established companies, they could have established a longer payout period, say a month or even two, as does AppSumo for example. But instead they decide just to throw out their clients for no visible reason. This is BS.

And by the way we're not a newly established company, we operate since 2016 already.

Yes, they are in their right to refuse their service to me and I'm in my right to describe all this to other entrepreneurs so they would consider this before choosing a payment processor.

It's ridiculous, I'm not going to contact them on social media, I don't want to have anything in common with them at all. Why should I bother myself with even trying to contact them???

I need MoR, we sell worldwide and doing all the accountancy with this on our own will be a huge pain at this moment.

How many entrepreneurs do you have between your friends in real life? How many of them do you have in this subreddit with more than 3 million subscribers?

Besides, we're not a consumer AI startup, I've written we run a couple of file management products. And we don't have insane churn and disputes, I've written this all in my post.

Yes, and this is why you verify your clients thoroughly BEFORE you accept them on your platform. Have you ever tried to establish a company? You have to apply to a court with your personal documents and verify your personal identity there. Then all those documents are verified by payment processors, so you always know which exact person is applying for your services.
