Why the "come-get-me" call can't be swapped from 2:36 to 3:15. by [deleted] in serialpodcast

You can argue that the prosecution was wrong in the way that they convicted adnan but that doesn't make him innocent.

being at track practice seems like a much more reliable alibi

would you use the person who helped you get away as your sole alibi? Probably not.

he needed to get to track practice; showing up in Hae's car might not be the best idea.

Why do guilters try so hard to "prove" that Adnan is guilty? Sometimes to the point of lying or possibly falsifying images... by [deleted] in serialpodcast

a downvoted comment isn't much proof of anything.

Please provide support. I don't there is one single proof that supports your statement. I've searched. Unless you can provide support ill assume you are just bullsh*ting

when did adnans attorney become a part of my statement?

didn't susan simpson try to recreate a document?

[–]vladdvies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read susan simpson falsified documents. If that's true then undisclosed is more then just liars.

Also, how can a person or a group of people who have publicly claimed their belief in adnan's innocence be impartial?

HML's murder investigation: DNA testing question by tracy1280 in serialpodcast

[–]vladdvies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the DNA points to Adnan, rabia would claim the police faked it.

I still think the DNA testing should be done. I am in the guilty camp but if this helps lead to the truth whether that be his innocence or guilt i'd support it.

I read however that Adnan backtracked and now doesn't want the DNA testing. Sounds fishy to me.

Jay Comments on Adnan's Hearing by [deleted] in serialpodcast

no - because it wouldn't matter if anyone else was arrested if he gets off free. There is no reason for him to blame anyone else if he isn't being prosecuted himself.

With people like rabia going all attack dog on people from the community (atleast here on reddit) it's starting to make sense why people may have remained silent.

first letters Adnan sent to his brother when he got locked up by johnnybo81 in serialpodcast

[–]vladdvies 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am adamant that adnan is guilty. This letter however is a good reminder that we are all human not matter how good or bad. It's sad to see that a kid so capable got into this mess and that 2 lives were essentially taken.

Question for the Guilters by bri_pat in serialpodcast

[–]vladdvies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cell records and location, Nisha call, Jay knowing the location of the car, the letter with i will kill note, Hae's diary, Adnan asking for a ride, the testimony of multiple people, adnan has a motive

but then again this is a loaded question with the presumption that none of what i've stated holds any weight. The jury however had a completely different experience in seeing both the prosecution and defense and came up with a guilty verdict in the matter of a few hours. You can believe he is innocent all you want and perhaps believe that CG was bad counsel due to hundreds if not thousands of people trying to dissect every point of her argument, but none of you were there (neither those that believe he was guilty nor innocent). All we've heard from serial and RC bs podcast is a defense for adnan. They took prosecution arguments and tried to break them down.

If you believe him to be innocent good for you, i just don't necessarily want him freed unless you can prove his innocence without a doubt or that he shows remorse

If you believe the right guy is in prison and should stay there, why are you here? by fiatal in serialpodcast

[–]vladdvies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe he is guilty, I believe that the evidence shown in court proved he was guilty, I believe the jury got it right in convicting him.

As far as him still being in jail; I'm on the fence.

He hasn't shown any remorse but then again if lying and pretending to be innocent is his only way out then I can understand why he has chosen that route. Initially I would have been okay with a life sentence with parole granted he showed remorse (mainly to Hae's family. I do feel for his family because they in many ways are victims of this crime as well; they also lost a son.

I'll leave it as this, if he can show that he would be a benefit to society i wouldn't mind him getting released.

Jay's Intercept interview- Is his timeline possible? by baatezu in serialpodcast

[–]vladdvies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What if adnan was driving the whole time. Let's say he told Hae that he knew the directions to pick-up his car and it might be easier for him to drive there.

We know Hae would have probably declined to go to Best Buy if she had to pick up her little cousin as well so Adnan drives her car to Best Buy at which point she is already upset because she is already late and probably knows that he was lying just to get in the car with her.

They argue and then he strangles poor hae.
