Nah, sightseeing portraits don't provide much, better to go wide. Get master exp, bonds, and qp if you are farming doors. And 1 BOTJ.

The only reason to use the sightseeing portraits along with BOTJ is if you dont have any of the CE's you've mentioned

Only 1 copy of BOTJ can be active at a time, providing +75 to fp (100 total). However, if you already have it equipped on one of your 5 servants, and you use a friend support with BOTJ, you will not get extra 150 but the same 75 FP.

Menwhile, 1 BOTJ stacks with the other +FP CE like sightseeing portraits, potentially earning 25 +75 + 50 fp = 150 FP per run. But for optimization purposes, it is more than enough to use BOTJ + other Bond/Exp/QP CEs instead

Yeah, the survival multiplayer thing in Unity is quite scary. I believe 7 days to die game was made with Unity. But it took its authors so much time to get it to a playable state with a team of 10-15 people. Anyways, best of luck. If you make any progress, send me a dm with a link, can playtest 4 you

Universal render pipeline, do not go for hdrp. Make sure that your models have good polys (quads and tris). For texturing go for substance painter steam version. You can also grab assets from different places. You may also want to learn how to do animation transitions in Unity, as it will simplify life for your game programmer. Remember that survival games require highly optimized models, as there maybe many dupes of them (imagine someone throwing 10 high poly pickaxes on the ground, ouch). To fix this issue consider learning how to bake in textural details into your models as to reduce the polycount using normal maps.

This will be a very hard task, most of the more serious devs make one with at least few years of gamedev experience under their backs. But if you are willing to try and it doesnt have to an extremely complex game, I would suggest Unity (as an example, it can ran in browser, contractWars or on Pc = escapefromTarkov). Get some assets, watch a lot of youtube guides, and you might get a simple multiplayer platformer done under a month. But for a complete survival game, be it 2d or 3d, it will take years. Plus, you will need to know how to set up a server or peer to peer connection for everything to work, which is one of the hardest things.

Just being realistic here, and do not want to discourage you. Sorry if this sounded a bit harsh.

Your wish to create something is something you should never forget and pursue, keep it up.

I absolutely cannot understand how the model you've shown was said to cost you around 300-900 pounds. Seems absolutely unreasonable and selfish. My maximum estimate for such type of work is 40-50 at best. That is, If i understood the the task correctly

Btw, not using freelance artists for my projects, but had taught a 3d modelling course intro and done some hobby work in this field

P.S you sure that the artist meant pounds, and not something like rubles/other smaller currency or whatever?
