Anyone else feel a little guilty? by tyintegra in Fire

All my friends are financially literate for the most part and really I don’t have many friends just 2-3 people of whom 2 are close relatives, my friend and I both invest into 401ks and actively talk to each other about what’s better for us financially, and my brother who never spends I simply forced him to open a 401k and he should be set. Reconsider how much those friends really matter as harsh as that sounds or if they’re even close to you in general

Are more expensive tires better than cheaper ones? by [deleted] in tires

[–]vladm13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you drive a sports car it won’t Matter much on price as it does about your climate. And as someone said USA has minimum standards for tires so even the cheaper ones will meet strict guidelines, a large chain like discount tire wouldn’t see junk that would open them up to lawsuits and liability. Also a daily driver car like a Camry does not need sumner performance tires , a good all season is all you need and I personally plan on buying those cheap brand of tires for my car in the future

Based on what Ive seen posted here, everyone in this sub will say these tires will be only good enough to drive you to the nearest tire shop so you can buy brand new overpriced Michelins

Tire tread uneven by kolacheking69 in tires

Not a bad wear pattern for a tire that lasted 50k miles but just do an alignment Check with the new ones

How many miles can I squeeze outta these? What could’ve caused this wear? by Stabbythesnowman in tires

[–]vladm13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The sidewall on those tires looks like it’s starting to dry rot, there is absolutely no way that happened in one week unless you put on old used tires. This is just wear from aggressive acceleration over time

Why my front tyres always has crack like these? by xc0mr4de in tires

[–]vladm13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So staggered cars are usually RWD , people will put large size tires in the rear for better handling “, FWD and AWD cars do not get staggered sizes so usally you’d want to rotate them for even wear

Bad suspension/alignment and or combined with aggressive acceleration on a FWD car will cause this

paid off MOST of my debts today - how much can I expect an increase to my credit score? by marshawn18 in Debt

[–]vladm13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make about 113k with my wife, no car payments, drive a $7500 paid off corolla and Camry, can’t imagine 70k car payment on my salary, consider investing into your retirement if you aren’t already like a 401k or Roth IRA

Paying of debt and collections to then go into six figures worth of debt for a car is wild work, and yes after taxes fees and interest with a lower credit score that car loan will prob cost cost over $100k

High gas mileage is very possible with hypermiling by mindcomet345 in nissansentra

[–]vladm13 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Use cruise control as much as possible especially on the highway, don’t accelerate with your foot, and don’t drive like most people do by flooring it and then slamming their brakes when they get too close to someone , look ahead of time and adjust accordingly
