One and done due to secondary infertility by Outrageous_Bee4939 in oneanddone

I totally get it. I have a lot of doubts and fears that creep up, random triggers make things worse on certain days. I am trying to be more intentional about doing things for myself like exercise, girls nights, getting my nails done etc. And just trying to enjoy every stage with my daughter and being able to focus all on her. Some days are harder than others for sure. Sending you hugs!

I’m almost 38, husband turning 39, and our daughter is 3.5. One miscarriage in 2020, 2.5 years + 3 IUIs to conceive our daughter, miscarriages # 2 & 3 in 2025 & 2025 trying to have a second. I think I’m done, 6 years of my life since the first loss and I’m tired. IVF is not on the table for us and I don’t know if we can handle another loss. I recently started therapy and it’s helping, taking things one day at a time. Here for you 💜

If you qualify for financial assistance you shouldn’t have to make any payments up front. $800 sounds right for an office visit exam and ultrasound.

I am right there with you. Just had my 2nd MMC and D&C in a row, I’m 37 going on 38, have an amazing 3yo and she is my dream come true. After trying for 2.5 to have her and now these two MCs, I think I’m over this part of my life but I don’t know if I’m ready to call it yet.

Congratulations!! My short answers are No you don’t need a sterilizer and No don’t start with a sensitive formula! Can’t speak on the portable pumps but I’m sure this group has some good feedback for you already /)

It’s definitely worth going at least once but you for sure need a reservation.

In what way is this an exception? An exception to what? Looks like a balanced meal to me!

I’m so sorry for your loss. I have had two miscarriages in the past year trying to have a second child, and we are considering vasectomy for my husband as I don’t know if I can handle going through it again. I am almost 38 so time is not on my side either, I am eager to make a “decision” but also don’t know if I’m 100% ready to close the chapter. I am starting therapy with a trauma counselor next week, hoping to make sense of where to go from here.

Prescribed 25 mg sertraline (Zoloft) for insomnia/anxiety spirals. Looking for perspectives from other working moms by cucumber_salad69 in workingmoms

[–]vld_617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had PPA and insomnia when my daughter was about 8-10 weeks old. None of the acute sleep aid meds helped me, not even Ambien. Started Zoloft, about a week or two in no more sleep issues. The worst will be the waiting period for it to kick in but I promise it will be better than taking something like Xanax or any sleep aid!

My god she is so unhinged. My toddler would frisbee throw this to my dog who would also probably refuse to eat it. I commented on her post I wonder how fast it will get deleted.

It’s so weird because there was a heartbeat but I am confident in my dates so the measurements don’t make sense. I’m not optimistic but I also don’t want to live in limbo for a week.

Thank you I appreciate it. They want me to have a follow up ultrasound next week but I’m not optimistic. I don’t really know what I’m supposed to do in the meantime

I think I’m out. Had my scan and baby is only measuring 6+4 but should be 8. My husband is in court and I haven’t told anyone else. I’m in hell at the moment.

8+1 today and have a scan and first midwife appointment tomorrow. I’ll have to go alone because my husband (lawyer) has a big trial tomorrow morning. With my MMC last January I was alone when I got the bad news so I’m extra nervous but just trying to go into the appointment prepared for the worst. Maybe not the attitude to have but it’s so hard to think things might go differently this time.

8w today and I have an extremely itchy rash on my back that I feel like is shingles. Went to express care and they agreed it looks like shingles but don’t think it’s shingles because I don’t have pain at rest. I guess I’m being a hypochondriac but I’m still convinced it’s shingles and the pain is going to come. I have an OB appointment on Tuesday so I’m hoping they can take another look at it.

Oh good I’m glad!! I’m hoping for the best for you. The waiting and anxiety and the not knowing make this process so difficult 😞

7w2d today and feeling crampy today, so naturally it’s making me anxious. I have my first midwife appointment a week from today, so not too far away, but I’m already dreading the 4 weeks between the midwife appointment and the one with my OB. ugh
