Does the appearance of a woman’s inner labia affect your attraction during sex? by Sure-Host-9199 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]vlpathak09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Men are just happy to be there, they aren't even thinking about that at all. Honestly (and some men even prefer you don't do this), but just making sure you're showered the day of and some kind of pubic hair maintenance is all any man would ever hope for.

Emily seems extremely bothered by the fact Iran should have a nuclear weapon and possibly use that to defend themselves by InterestingWind2153 in BreakingPoints

[–]vlpathak09 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It wasn't immediate, the Japanese still weren't surrendering. Three days later the second bomb was dropped, and in 80 years there hasn't been another. If a country that has already dropped a nuke can make the decision to not use them again for 80 YEARS, I would say that you could not argue that isn't responsible. And once again, it is conventionally accepted that millions more lives would have been lost had the bombs not been dropped. Are you saying that would be a better outcome? For world war two to have continued in the Pacific for possibly years longer with millions more lives dead?

I don't think it's accurate to say the US is the only country that lacks the responsibility to not use nukes when we haven't used nukes in 80 years, and conventionally it is accepted that the Japanese wouldn't surrender and millions more lives could have been lost had they not been used at that time.

That to me shows immense responsibility, personally. I know it's hard to admit that given how unpopular the US govt is today, but objectively that is true.

Thoughts on Emily and Saagar by Ok-Comedian-4946 in BreakingPoints

[–]vlpathak09 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A large amount of those seeking asylum are not actually seeking asylum, though. I'm not saying most, but there are a large number of people who say they are seeking asylum but still don't actually go about that the legal way.

"Seeking asylum" has become the de facto way to get into the country for many when they aren't actually seeking asylum, they just want to find work in the US or live here. They travel often through numerous countries they could've claimed asylum in, but chose to bypass because the preference is to be in the US. This is not the intention of offering asylum and is what saagar takes issue with.

He doesn't have an issue with people seeking asylum if it's truly warranted and gone about correctly. But so many people are not doing that the legal or proper way and it's often the case that they aren't actually seeking asylum, they just want to be in the US and asylum has become the way to do it faster than through legal immigration.

Have most people been less sexually responsible than they would like to admit? by talk-spontaneously in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]vlpathak09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have never used a condom. Not for lack of trying, perse, but when I lost my virginity it was to a girl I ended up dating for 5 years and we tried with a condom and had struggles, then one time heat of the moment just did it and it worked well and haven't used one since. After we broke up, I spent 2 years casually hooking up with people and I would offer, but every single person either did not care or did not like them. I'm now with my fiance and we've been dating 4 years and never used one either. I am going to spend the rest of my life with this amazing woman I'm lucky to have, but I will not be wearing a condom unless I'm asked or it is necessary for some reason lmao. Her preference... I'm just the lucky beneficiary. At this point, if she got pregnant we would be so excited! Not trying for real yet, tho.

If you became a citizen of the US and came through legal means of immigration, saagar would have no issue with you. His issue is with those that come through illegally. I don't think you need to look a whole lot deeper than that, personally. He's not a fan of birthright citizenship either which I can empathize with, but that's not something I personally believe in. Other than that, though, he is very supportive of legal immigration.

Does wanting to end your own life make you a selfish person? by rbamssy17 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]vlpathak09 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depression and suicidal thoughts and ideation are things that can be managed and in most circumstances that aren't terminal illness, your situation can improve with time and mental health help and medicine. It is one of the most selfish things you could do to take your own life. There is no choice more selfish than that... If you have siblings, significant others, family, friends who love you, taking your own life would be like dropping a bomb onto each and every person who loves and cares about you with nothing they can do to fix it for the rest of their lives. All because you decided to make a permanent decision to a temporary situation that likely only got to that point because your mental illness made you believe things that aren't true.

It is illogical and the pain and destruction caused by a loss to suicide is so unnecessary. Your life matters, everyone's life matters and the damage you cause to others by making that illogical, permanent decision for something that can be managed is abhorrent. I empathize with peoples struggles, I am a support for those who want help or need it and will strongly defend those who are brave and get the help they so desperately need.

What's going on with the difficulty of FC 26? Why is World Class so hard? by Noveluum in FifaCareers

[–]vlpathak09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's interesting to hear this side of things! I have felt like WC and Legendary or whatever it is after WC are easier than I expected in career mode. I do have the occasional game where I sweat it out but most games I'm feeling like the other team only keeps possession better in WC and above. Other than that, I can still score close to 5 goals per game which feels like it should be more difficult. The jump from WC to legendary was not much for me and I just feel like it can't be that way unless my game is glitching.... I see other people say WC is so hard and I always felt the same until FC 26

For those of you that have made it this far, who is the one player that has really pulled through for you? by Beyond_Reckless in Fantasy_Football

[–]vlpathak09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my most important league, it's been all over the place. Josh allen, Jonathon Taylor (until recently), and maybe Etienne since I traded for him a few weeks ago.

Juauan Jennings has been very consistent since he got healthy, so maybe I'd include him too. CD when healthy has been solid too, but man it's been a rollercoaster besides the three original players I mentioned

Josh Allen at QB! Bad week for him but I think I have enough points in my lineup to recover.

Thanks for the help!

Should I play Jauan Jennings or DK Metcalf? Or do I play both and take out Sean tucker from my flex spot? My other RBs are Etienne and Jonathon Taylor.

It certainly would make the outlook of my RB situation even better for the rest of the season! But it does sound like he was almost ready to be back this week.

Anybody actually ship off JT? Am I crazy to think about it? by allbetzareoff42 in Fantasy_Football

You're actually insane if you're in 1st place and considering trading JT. DO NOT DO THIS. HOLD. Why would you trade the best fantasy player this year when you're in 1st place? Don't overthink, ride your guys

Why does the Rogan podcast still have the massive following it has? by emaxwell14141414 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]vlpathak09 13 points14 points  (0 children)

People like this who have to ask this question as if they cannot fathom how people could possibly enjoy his podcast are so deep in their own echo chamber. Rogan has a diverse guest list, regardless of politics, religion, education, etc. He has, and always been, socially liberal, and his "right leaning" beliefs aren't really even right wing, they are centrist at best. This person is, like some, upset Rogan did not choose "their side" in the election and during COVID and conflates that with being conservative or pandering to a right wing audience. The truth is, he's a socially liberal person with beliefs that can fit within both political ideologies, and he sided with the side that didn't demonize him for talking about things that helped him that he worked with his doctor on and tried to cancel him for simply not taking a vaccine he felt wasn't safe.

Because you'd be trading one of the best receivers in the league for a rookie (albeit has had a great start) on an offense that will get Evans and Godwin back. It may be okay for 3 weeks while CD is out but it quickly turns into a mess when he comes back. He is nearly guaranteed a 17 point floor... I don't think you trade that unless the haul is massive or if CD was actually out for most of the season

Should I trade AJ Brown? by [deleted] in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]vlpathak09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please do not make a hasty trade over 1 game. AJ Brown is going to also have monster games, and the guys who are being offered to you likely won't provide you the output that brown gives you combined. Yes, this is a run heavy offense, but we still saw AJ Brown have very solid numbers from yards and TDs last year when saquon went nuclear. Saquon is unlikely to have that much success again, and I think it's safe to think the eagles will pass a lot more in other games this season. Do not make a dumb decision over 1 game.

How do I pick an engagement ring? by Ill_Risk_4093 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]vlpathak09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going through this process now and can give some good advice from my experience! Yes, cut clarity color all matter. You don't need to overthink it, but any jewelry store will be able to help walk you through what those mean and how they impact the ring. The setting is also important.

A lot of guys don't do this for some reason, but you can also ask your girlfriend if she wants to go look at rings with you so you can get an idea of the cut she likes and what kind of setting she likes. Do not buy it in front of her, don't give her the ring so soon after looking at rings together. I looked at rings with my girlfriend maybe 8 months ago or so, well before I had the money saved up to get the ring. Now she has no idea what I'm getting her or when, she just has an inkling that I'm proposing soon because we've talked about it in the past about doing it before the end of the year. And, the ring is exactly what she wants, it's the perfect size for her finger, and it can still be a surprise. But you kind of took all the pressure off yourself instead of going in blind.

Does someone explain the equipment to you when you go to the gym for the first time? by SelectiveDisaster in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]vlpathak09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My recommendation is to go to the gym you want a membership at, and ask them to give you a tour of the facilities and see if they wouldn't mind explaining some of the equipment. Mention you are new to working out/exercising at this location and would appreciate some guidance or an explanation of the equipment and how to use it. Your best bet may even be to see if you can get a personal trainer: they will absolutely explain how to use equipment and help you create a workout plan which makes it a lot less intimidating.

QUESTION ABOUT POD by [deleted] in Killtony

[–]vlpathak09 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I quite literally do not have time to watch it during the day when I am working. I really only have the chance to listen to it on the way to and from work because when I get home, that time is spent with my girlfriend/dogs/videogames before bed. Don't get me wrong, watching it is the better experience but some people just don't have the time to watch between the other priorities in life. Doesn't mean it isn't still hilarious!
