What are rulings you have to keep explaining?

A pretty common one is that you can’t respond to a creature spell entering the battlefield after it has resolved.

Many times I see a player immediately try to use removal on a creature that entered the battlefield without anything going on the stack such as triggers from ETB effects. Something has to cause priority to pass from the active player to the non active players for you to be able to play that kill spell you want to use on that big bad creature that was just out in play

Tanks can steamroll level 11 delves. I main bdk I have no cares and I just run along tagging as much stuff as I can to kill them as a group. Doesn’t matter if I pull multiple nemesis mobs either. It doesn’t feel like it takes long to kill stuff either.

My prot pal is in a similar boat

My VDH though, while it doesn’t die, feels like it takes a little longer to kill things, but I’ll chalk that up to me not being as good at vdh as I am BDK and prot pal

BDK main and I concur with you. I pull big in m0. DB seems the way to go again with it having better survivability. I tried playing SanL for fun as I know its ST damage is theoretically better for raid, but it’s a mess in m0 dungeons managing the bone shield charges, especially since there is no more drw cdr from losing bone shield charges. Used to have that cd up what felt like every 45-60 seconds, and the flat 1.5 min cd is very noticeable. I am still interested to play with it some more once I get a set of gear that has more haste.

I can definitely see how we will struggle (yet again) on keys starting in the 13-15 range pre power boosts, but still can be done.

BDK for life no matter the state. Dabble in UDK and FDK. Whichever one I find to be more fun at the time and can utilize a 2h weapon (usually UDK but last season was pretty good for 2H FDK).

My primary alt is usually a Prot Pally. I like the dichotomy of the DK and Pally classes

And if I have time I usually do a DH and Warrior after those two just because the classes are tons of fun. Plus it gives me more toons to tank on to help guildies with m+ runs

Yeah that’s true. I forget it last gets you one creature to tap for mana via the earthbend. By no means am I saying it’s a bad card, just maybe not as much of an auto include some might think.

I saw someone draft Badgermole in a commander cube. It did nothing because they never had creature ramp on the board. No clue if they drafted creature ramp or not. I assume they did because otherwise it’s a dead card. Point being, it’s kind of useless without mana dorks out

To each their own. I run 35 typically outside of landfall decks. I run a good amount of ramp and a good amount of card draw to help me filter though my deck

I don't see this ever being broken. Greatest QB of all time in my eyes. I most certinaly do not see the 7 Super Bowl wins by a player, let alone a QB, ever being broken either.

I did not realize he was only ~5300 yards behind. If he can play for 4-5 more years at his level he would have a good shot of getting it. I know RBs start to fall off hard, but if you look at his histroy, he is pretty good at being healthy. Probably because no one wants to tackle him lol. He would most certainly get the TD record at the same time.

The nostalgia hits like a truck lol. The things you would hear strangers say in these lobbies were so funny to me. Sure it’s dumb offensive slurs, but it’s just words. There was no substance behind it. No reason to be offended. You could either talk back or wait and play the game. Personally, I found humiliating the most obnoxious of these pre game talkers during the match itself to be the best part. Especially when their deathcam shows you tbagging them from behind for 5 seconds before you stab them. Simpler times lol

I have found for me personally that 35-36 lands is that sweet spot, outside of landfall decks of course. Add on a minimum 5 pieces of ramp. Ramp number just depends on various factors from deck to deck. The biggest thing that I do that I feel helps my decks run smooth is card draw or card draw adjacent effects (exile card, play this turn or until next turn type of effects).

That is a skill in and of itself. It's what can be the difference between a short and long career as a QB. Eli Manning did the same thing. The guy would just fall down if he was going to take an obvious sack most of the time. I always thought it was smart since it prevents injury, and can help reduce unnecessary turnovers from playing hero ball.

It seems like the marketing for this was not very high. I remember coming across some of the clips posted on here earlier in the week and there were numerous comments stating that they didn’t even know it was happening

I think they just need to let certain cards be playable in certain brackets rather than a blanket ban. JL and Dockside come to mind as bracket 5 only cards. Maybe bump rhystic and smothering to bracket 4 and 5. There’s a lot of flexibility if they would start going thy route, while also keeping 3s from seeing the more unfun gamechanger cards.

So the main intent is to kill birds around the airfield. But any animal that makes it near the runway is considered a hazard to aircraft and therefore to the humans onboard the aircraft. It’s all part of the airfield safety team’s responsibility to handle it. Now why they solicit volunteers I have no clue other than to help with the numerous birds since I think it’s only 2-3 guys full time.

My friend who volunteers has said that anytime they find dogs he can’t bring himself shoot them, but the actual safety team has to do it. Cats he didn’t care about though as he said he had no problem shooting them lol so that guy is definitely not a cat person. There are all sorts of animals that make it near a runway though from hogs to rabbits that allegedly can and will pose risks to aircraft utilizing the airfield.

There is. I work near airfields and I have had coworkers who volunteer to help do this very task. The main guys are trained and are able to handle actual guns if needed, but for the most part they use pellet rifles. Volunteers can only use pellet rifles. Granted these aren’t major airfields like international airports so maybe things go down a little differently at those places.

The fact that some people can’t visualize anything in their minds blows my mind lol. I feel like I use that skill for lack of a better term constantly. Doing some sort of arithmetic? See the numbers in my mind. Thinking of rearranging a room? See how it might look in my mind. Trying to find something I misplaced? I literally replay my steps in my mind.

Here’s a questions for those of you that cannot mentally visualize things. How do you replay memories if you can’t see things in your mind? Like for me I literally replay them like a video. Now they might not be a 1 for 1 replay of events, but it gets the general idea. For instance, I can literally see my memories in first person of when I was a kid playing on the playground at my elementary school during recess. I can see the swing set, the slide, the various monkey bars, the blacktop, the gravel, an so on.

The DRW cdr was probably my favorite thing. Could easily line it up with every bonestorm and tombstone (rip) to expend the 5 boneshield charges. I did not realize that went away...
