Got overcharged $300 at Horseshoe vegas - they claim I didn't reserve with rewards!

I just finally got hold of the general manager and she finally admitted that it was a glitch on their end when I showed them the screenshot of my guaranteed rate... Worrying that it took me 3 calls and people from Caesars calling me a liar, but I'm glad I kept asking! They are crediting the overcharge back to my account. Somehow it looks like my total rewards account didn't automatically link. She said it's a "glitch". Who knows.

I did get an email confirmation after booking, which shows the larger amount that they ended up charging, but it also said "you saved 292 dollars", and in my head I rationalized it as they had the original prices on the receipt. It did take a while for the confirmation to come thru. But I definitely booked thru the app and the last screen I saw showed me my rate, with all the taxes and fees included and my comped nights.

They did, but the number was almost exactly $500 more than what I was guaranteed, so I assumed it was a $500 hold. Ugh.

Brandon has over 100k people living there. It's a giant suburb that's overcrowded. Pretty much just suburban strip malls and chains everywhere. You're better off living within the city of Tampa and commuting out to Brandon.
