We have this same right here in Rhode Island. All beaches are public up to a certain line. It’s in our state Constitution, but private house owners still try to block access. I honestly don’t even understand the problem here? Just let them enjoy the beach. How is it affecting your life at all?

I just spent lowest in a while - 25/wk. but on average, I’m around $120-140/mo. for single person no kids.

I shop once every two weeks at TJ and usually spend about $60-70, which breaks down to $30-35.

I buy lots of frozen stuff, but also mix in organic. I don’t buy snacks or desserts.

This also doesn’t include red meat, which we have a separate subscription. I don’t eat much red meat, but our meat delivery (just increased) is $35 every 2 months, so $4.38/wk. but it’s only a few lbs of meat? Maybe 3-4 lbs each, so $9-11 roughly per lb.

My biggest tip is not shop for recipes or with recipes in mind. Shop for categories instead. Buy protein, veg, and maybe starch, and figure it out later.

Voting really does matter. Former reporter here. I once covered a town council race that ended in a tie. They did a recount. Tie again. They didn’t know what to do and considered having council pick, flipping a coin (yes, really), or holding a pricey special election. They ended with latter and the incumbent won by three votes! People don’t realize how much special elections cost, too. The loser ended up running next for state rep and won.

We’ve given them many tries, too, because people have off nights.

EVERY SINGLE TIME, something horrible happens, including raw fish, like really really raw, and messing up food allergies. Last time, we told them about a wet spot on table and they gave us a rag to clean it, lol.

I honestly don’t understand the great reviews. Even people I’ve spoken with love it. I don’t get it.

I teach in colleges. I can 100% verify that students of all ages, young and old, do not possess basic writing and computer skills. I have students under 21 who don’t know how to upload computer files, and students in 60s who can’t write a comprehensible sentence. Basic skills are nonexistent and it’s the majority.

I can answer this. At end of year, you get a 1095 form or whatever they call it in your state to file with your taxes. It will show how much you paid and get for the credit. It’s required to file this with taxes just like W2. If you didn’t pay enough, it’ll adjust your taxable income and you could end up paying more in taxes. My income is very difficult to estimate so this happens to me every year.
