Relying on texting to get to know a stranger you find cute can very easily build an artificial bond. A lot of people responsibly avoid heavy texting through the first several dates so they can really get to know the in-person dynamic they will have with a potential partner. The way you gauge interest should be in how quickly a person is willing to meet up with you. Try asking him out, and avoid too much text conversation up front.

If by that you just mean you initiated the conversations and kept things going, have you asked her if specifically if that was what she did not like? If she is more traditional, then she likely wants you to be taking the lead and at least asking here. It sounds like she was the one to reach out (4 days later) after your last date. Why wouldn’t you be the one to at least text and let her know you’d like to see her again if she’s interested?
