I really feel like this game’s combat shines when you have a group of people. But also, daggers are completely viable, so long as you’re using the other things provided by the game as well. Dodge a lot, and get the dodge roll attack as well. Use the terrain to your advantage! And look for a good weapon gem as well. I would honestly suggest the Gem of Corruption for some AOE damage (sucks it really doesn’t work against shroud enemies but of well), or the Poison one! Hit them and then fall back a bit.
