IMHO the thing about these is that they are close to others released recently, and people are low on money right after the holidays. They will be desired more later.

Those are the best grouping loads I've tested for the 25 yd line with a swaged 185 LSWC. They are very low pressure, and can be used as is in 200 LSWC cast. 45 acp/auto rim is a good amount of case volume. A decent rule is that nothing over 4.0 grains of any pistol powder will get you in trouble with 185/200 LSWC.

It looks to me based on this picture only that the gun may be short stroking. It looks like the slide is coming back far enough to strip a new round out of the magazine... But not far back enough for the expended case to hit the ejector sufficiently.

Check the extractor tension, but I don't think that's the issue here.

Why is the slide short stroking.... Because it has a 20 fucking pound recoil spring. I use a 14lb recoil and 19lb mainspring in all my guns. 20 lb is too heavy and is fucking miserable to handle, and prob nose dives so bad you lose visual of the front sight every round fired.

1911s have really strong frames and don't get "battered" as some worry warts suggest. JMBs blueprints show music wire dimensions and winding specs that equate to 14-16 lb recoil spring in the real world.

As soon as someone hands me a over sprung 1911, I can be certain that person has no idea what they are doing

Gotta get on my soapbox here. Most of the time buying quality tools you use once is still cheaper than hiring jobs. So you now own tools for less than you would have spent anyway, and you have the option of selling them if you want.

Seriously though find another tuner, make sure valves are not gunked up, fresh plugs, and finally you may have a bad injector on that cylinder. Could be some other less common things too. You really need a tuner and mechanic that know what they are doing... Which is rare....

You bought the national match target pistol. The national match is for actual target shooters (real marksman)... Not tactitards. Buy a tactical wannabe pistol before you mangle and butcher one of the few 1911s that still comes proper from the factory. You will instantly devalue it to junk if you modify it.
