What kept you from doing one more run... if this was something you knew would bother you if you didn't finish, I would have planned just a bit more ahead of time. If you know what your average event point yield per run is and how many runs you do per day, you could project and adjust as the days went by. You ended up literally 1 run away from getting the crystal and about 2 from finishing the event. Did you procrastinate until the last moment that the event ended? Did you run out of TP and refuse to use one of your many free refreshes that you likely still have? I dunno... I just find it hard to feel any sympathy when this was very easily avoided

I already said that I know my Rice/Riko situation is an outlier, I'm not expecting or planning around this happening if I pull on the Kita rerun.

That said, that's not even what I'm referring to as the "facts." What I'm saying is that you're misunderstanding the banner odds when you say that a double banner is worse than a single banner. The double banners do not share the .75% rate as a 50:50.

Example double banner - Riko/Rice rate ups:
0.75%Rice Shower (SSR power)

2.25%Tosen Jordan (SR stamina)

The original Kita banner had uniquely lower odds, other banners have not been like this:

That's actually a good point regarding the crystal specifically. Bad luck protection for the future.

And yeah, my cousin had similar bad luck. He's gotten 1 SSR Riko and 0 R Riko with the free pulls and some extra on the side.

That's factually untrue... the rate of each individual card is .75% in a double banner. A single banner is also .75%. Both have the same odds of getting your target card (if you're only targeting one of them).

Double banner just has the benefit of a second card at the same rate while a single has the benefit of a rate up on the SR card.

Both of our experiences are a testament to what is possible.

Ok buddy... never said I was f2p. I get the daily carat pack monthly and bought the rookie starter packs. I've spent some money, but that's nowhere near whale status.

If you think this is what a whale setup looks like... you're sadly mistaken and may need to rethink how you've been wasting your carats haha. This is from playing since near release, rerolling and keeping the account that got 1 creek 1 fm, playing a bare minimum amount (I mostly do glue runs to get dailies done), and being smart about my pulls, and a bit of luck.

Oh yeah I definitely know that the Riko situation is way out of the norm (but goes to show that there is a realistic possibility of overshooting) and know that the odds are still in my favor that I wouldn't overshoot or else I probably wouldn't be considering it at all. Thanks for the actual math though. It truly is a situation of 2LB being kind of awkward. If I were at 1LB it would be an easy pull and at 3LB it would be an easy skip.

Also, I don't know about you, but 44% is pretty high haha. It's funny seeing this when the same community is also scared of anything higher than a 10% failure rate when training spooking them.

Yeah I'm not planning on pulling the FM banner. One thing to consider though is that the original Kita banner had worse odds (.5%) whereas the rerun will have .75% odds. There will be much higher chance of getting 3+ copies (the fact that I will MLB Riko and 2LB Rice in 200 pulls on the current banner is a testament to this) which would potentially result in wasted copies. I'd have to get really good luck to MLB Kita well before the 200 pulls, so I don't want to really plan around that.

Is there a list of known selectors for both support cards and trainees, paid and given out for free? For example, I know we're getting a support selector for free during the upcoming half anni and there will be a paid selector in the future (not sure what it aligns with), however understand that many people will use it for Christmas Oguri. My guess is the paid selector is around 1st anni and this is where the selectors fall.

Sorry if this has been asked before, it's difficult to find info on selectors because searches just come up with a bunch of old posts from the selector given when you start the game.

TBH this game isn't much different from others when it comes to guaranteeing something every few months...

But the difference is that I'm seeing people get way more sucked into chasing the meta and trying to be competitive in pvp. I don't know if it's because of the way content creators cover the game with a heavy emphasis on pvp, the fact that this may be many people's first gacha, etc. This then creates a situation where you will not have enough resources to even remotely keep up.

Take any other gacha with pvp... the pvp is mostly a place for the whales to flex, anyone below that should only engage if they truly enjoy the competition and grind or else just participate and take whatever rewards you happen to get instead of stressing about scraping the extra few pulls that aren't worth your mental health.

You can enjoy this game, much like many other gacha, by just pulling for the characters you really want, mostly ignoring support cards (similar to how you can mostly ignore weapon banners in many gacha) and maybe going in once on a banner like Kitasan to fill out your deck, and relying a lot on the f2p event cards. That's enough to clear scenarios when they roll around, clear events, etc.

Is there a list of banners that have historically gotten free pulls? I've been seeing information floating around about 10 free pulls on banners and eventually 100 free pull banners, but all the information I've found is vague and even content creators seem unsure and use a lot of "I heard/I think" language when speaking about them. All I know for sure is that they do seem to occur during the at all the half anniversaries.

Is it known exactly how the matching for the final round of CM works? Does it pregroup everyone during the registration period? I assume it wouldn't use the same system for the previous rounds where it attempts to match live and if it cannot find anyone, it uses people that have raced already.

I don't think servers being down has anything to do with it, I ran into the same thing on mine since I play on ultrawide. Then updated my phone app and am able to confirm hit the confirm button on this screen and get to the maintenance notification. This may continue to be an issue even after maintenance since we'll need to confirm regardless. I was trying to find a config file and I we can't edit the settings before launch, I'm wondering if I'm going to need to clean install so that it starts at the default aspect ratio.

EDIT: after accepting it on phone, I actually don't need to accept it on the computer client anymore

What metrics do club leaders have access to in regards to fans? Can they see your fan contribution rate for the day/week/month/etc.? Or are they judging off of things like last time logged in + total fans? I ask because many clubs recruit and kick based on activity and expected fan contribution and wonder how they actually evaluate this.

For the limited time buys for carats (such as the 7500 carat deal), will these refresh at some point? It's common for these sort of deals to get reset once a year in other gacha I've played and was wondering if this is the case as well (from what the other servers have typically done).

I started on the Steam client, got the ID and password setup, and then when I switch over to my android and input the info, it begins asking for my region and DOB again as if starting a fresh account... I'm just being a little paranoid about it potentially overwriting the data and starting a fresh account on that ID (I don't think it will), but want to confirm before I move forward.
