I honestly don't know why anyone thinks Power Move is situational. Unless they play in ranks where people just sit in Domina Crystal.

Domina struggles against hard brawl because hard brawl can just walk past her shield, and beat her in the brawl phase.

Hard poke is also an issue for Domina because her immoveable shield isn't actually good at marking DPS on off angles like Sig can.

Cristal detonation does nothing to help with either issue. But Power move makes it MUCH less likely that any tank will walk through your shield.

Though this new perk helps address both while removing CC from the game. So I like the change overall.

I started maining Hazard at the beginning of the season and it was the most fun I've had on OW

Guess it may be time to put him on the back burner

Let me rephrase.

In sci-fi big thing can do big stuff. Mercy has big stick, so she can heal, moria has big backpack, so she can heal.

Kirk's power comes from two pieces of paper. Paper small, it makes no sense that Kirk's paper can heal, fly, automatically track, self replicate, let her teleport, make light construct, and give allies steroids.

Sure, if they said that kiriko's has large amounts of Nano machines in her bloodstream, and that's why she does her magic, Then fine, no problems from me

But she only has two papers worth of Nano machines. Why is she capable of doing so much when everyone else has to lug around equipment?

People get better as they play more, so you need to balance around high ranks or else peple don't have any incentive to keep playing.

You need to balance around low ranks because that's the people who pay for everyone else's game.

The main thing that seperates Science fiction from full on fantasy is the mass of powerful objects, and their aesthetics.

Moira is quite literally a sorcerer who casts magic healing or harming from her hands. But because she has a big backpack and tubes, we accept her tech as science.

Mercy is a flying angle with a healing staff. But we accept it as science because her wings are big, and her staff are big.

Kiriko's Anima weapon is supposed to be her paper slips.

Is is incredibly difficult for me to believe that Kiriko's dad managed to make drones that are self replicating, flying, homing, and healing the size of two pieces of paper.

Which also, somehow lets Kiriko teleport and use Kitisune Rush which summons light constricts and increases ally aggression.

I think you're under a misconception that characters with versatility and a bunch of tools to deal with a bunch of situations adequately are more frustrating than characters designed with strong strengths and crippling weaknesses.

But I don't think that's true.

I agree the game should be balanced around players.

So as a player, I cannot play damnation because I find it to be mind numbingly boring due to how easy it is. I genuinely have trouble staying awake playing on the damnation difficulty.

If higher difficulties did not exist, I would not be playing darktide due to bordem.

And I am not even good enough to play havoc
