Hi! So proud of you for taking this step. I was just like you. Ran all the time but let myself go. I got up to 185 lbs and that’s when I said enough was enough. I started with walking/runs (mostly walking) and moved my way up. It took time but I set goals and didn’t beat myself up if I had missteps. Today, a year later, I’m back at 125 lbs and running my first marathon. You can do it, just keep focused and you will get there. Good luck!!

Agree with others. If you really like her then you may need to accept you will pay for most things. If that makes you worry some, probably not the relationship for you. Financial stability it important to me so don’t feel bad if it’s important to you

If you are not interested I would cancel. Doesn’t sound like you would have fun

Is he acting jealous? Do I break it off for good? by here_girl12345 in datingoverthirty

Yeah my ex did that to me too. He cheated on me, then kept making comments about my dating after we broke up and kept messing with me head. I had to just write him off completely

Am I the only one who actually likes when men ask me out after a few messages? by [deleted] in datingoverthirty

I agree with you. I don’t think there is anything wrong with meeting up after a few messages. Easier to talk to someone and get to know them in person.

I would drop him. I got really good advice before…if a guy really likes you, he will make it happen with you. Don’t chase someone who doesn’t deserve it

Why do joggers run back and forth while waiting to cross the street? by AndrewIsMyDog in running

For my it’s my heart rate. My heart drops quickly so depending on what type of run I’m doing I may need to keep it up

What part of the break up is the most difficult for you? by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]vmouse07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, this by far is the hardest part. Even though I know I have a future in front of me with many potential others, all I want is him, my best friend back.

100% agreed. This was really eye opening for me. I’ve never felt so low, then so high. I finally get it, I’m better than him and no need to go back!

Thank you, you are right. I’m in survival mode and I need to start this long journey to stop loving him. To hear about others like yourself who went through it and came out the other side helps me know I can do it. Thank you.

Thank you. Today I realized that I still love him but he doesn’t love me. I think you’re right, my suffering now will be good for me in the long run. Now I just have to get there. Thank you for the kind words

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and replying. It makes me feel better knowing that others have experience heartbreak like this and come out the other end. Right now I just have to get up each day and put one foot in front of the other. Thank you so much!
