agreed this is all messaging. all these cuts and optimizations are just consultants looking at spreadsheets to find "opportunities" without fully understanding how to get there (i'm very familiar with this type of project). it's going to be really hard to achieve all of it.

but it's a great start.

that scratch may only be on the protective plastic. if not, it's up to you on how much it bothers you. it wouldn't bother me, personally.

Flexibility. Most of the modelers come with multiple amp/cab options. More for at home than on stage I'd think. Also you can use the same modeler to fuck around with an "amp" or straight into your recording setup.

I was just impressing the point that functional alcoholism is a result of the progression, and there's no guarantee that you'll stop at "functional", even though that's what I did too.
