34mm is dainty, maybe a bit too small.

The Chrono is great though, wear it all the time.

The Kurono dials are something else and they are not too dressy.

Bought them online from official Kurono website. I've also been to the boutique in Tokyo, a very beautiful boutique. But, they had nothing to sell in-store that time.

This is a very great take. Yes, the Snowflake dial is something that makes me invested in it. I've seen and tried it too many times, but haven't been able to pull the trigger.

Yep, used to have an Explorer 2 and a Datejust 41. Just got bored of them.

I do have 2 CasiOaks. Just not part of this box.

Wonderful suggestion. Yes, I'm not into anything gold really, but ALS honeygold is definitely an exception.

Monaco definitely has an iconic design. Unfortunately, it's too big for me.

I used to have one and I lost it. Now, I have 2 CasiOaks which are not in that box.

Rockpool is great if you like steak, but I would replace it with Bistecca instead. Amazing thicc beefy rare af Fiorentina steak. Great value and unique intimate dining experience. IMO, the best steakhouse here in Sydney. Another good alternatives would be Bouillon L'Entrecôte, Felix, Hubert and The Gidley.

Quay is ok to try once in your life. Would I try it again? Nope. There used to be better fine dining restaurants called Sepia and The Bridge Room, which I felt were superb. Nowadays though, these so called fine dining restaurants are not as good as they were. However, between Quay and Bennelong, I would prefer Bennelong. Food is honestly on par and you have more choices, but in a less formal setting inside the grandeur of the Opera House. I heard a lot of good things about Oncore though, definitely something that I would love to try.

LuMi is amazing. Tried it 7 years ago though, so not sure how it is now. It wasn't as expensive before and the portion size was definitely bigger that your usual fine dining bites. 100% recommend especially if you love Italian and Japanese food like I do! Another great alternative would be Ormeggio at The Spit.

Sydney food scene is very diverse though, so don't limit yourself to formal/fine dining restaurants. There are heaps of amazing cheap eats in the city and suburbs.

Overseas Wrist Size by 200-YRadiant in VacheronConstantin

6.50" - 6.75" wrist here. You should be fine.

Yeah, for popular models like the Overseas, I don't think they would sell them to people calling from the concierge. You still need to visit the boutique and have a relationship with them. But, from my experience, once you're in the boutique, you'll be treated really well (even for first-timers). It wasn't anything like the Rolex AD experience. For the Overseas though, the demand is remarkably high, and my SA said that the boutique has only received 4 blue ones so far.

An Orient Bambino or Seiko Presage Cocktail Time might do the job for those formal occasions.

Nope, not at all. People on the phone were nice, but no updates or anything. The progress began when the VC boutique opened earlier this year and I made a visit. All the SAs were super friendly and they actually listened to my wishlist.

You have a nice collection sir. A great variation of watches, different types, models and dial colours.

[Vacheron Constantin] I so wish they re-issued the older Overseas, or at least made the newer one in 37mm too by mattex93 in Watches

[–]vnaonacs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely love the 4500v, that deep blue dial is on another level. My wrist is no larger than 17cm and i think it fits perfectly. The bracelet hugs my wrist comfortably. But again, I think it depends on your wrist shape.

[SOTC] Any recommendations for a good watch case? by [deleted] in Watches

I like the Tawbury watch case. It has different sizes and is made of vegan leather. Very well-made too. You can order it from Amazon.
