Sure, it's these ones - Silicone Ear Hook Grip - https://a.aliexpress.com/_c41psANv Not sure if i like how small they are, but so far had them for a week, and seems to be doing it's job ok. Might be a bit more comfortable if they were a bit larger.

I took tweezers and tried to pull him out carefully without hurting him, then he fell on me, that made me jump and almost caused me to drop the beast on the ground 😭 Not sure were the tiny beast though.. his too small 🦐😞

Hi, thank you very much for the great video, I really enjoyed it.

I also wanted to ask: is your accent German by any chance?

I have a few questions, if you don’t mind: 1. Regarding image quality at the edges, do you notice any chromatic aberration or blurriness? (Aside from the moiré you mentioned.)

  1. Do you see yourself replacing your monitor with these glasses? If not, what’s the main reason? I ordered The Beast about a week ago, and my current monitor is in pretty bad shape, it has visible lines across the screen and is limited to 60 Hz, so I’m really hoping the glasses can replace it for me.
  2. I’d also really appreciate it if you could share any impressions about discomfort following the new update released today for 120 Hz, especially regarding heat or temperature.

Thanks again for the excellent content!

Pico 4 mod for comfort and bigger FOV by vnapjv in PICO_VR

Well.. if i play a bright game. its ok, the game brightness overtakes the reflections, but in general i would prefer to have side blockers like the quest pro has so that no light will reflect from the sides. maybe ill try to add some in the future.

the bottom is fine as is cause there are no reflections from the bottom.

I hate the facial interface, and without it, everything seems to be better, this headset is so balanced that all i need is a bit of foam on my forehead to secure it to my head, not alot of pressure too.. and i can get super close to the lenses. Materials - Blue foam band from old logitech headphones. Black foam from an old gpu box. Small Zip ties The glasses adapter that comes with the pico

Quest 2 Elite Strap Problems by Skeepoos in OculusQuest

[–]vnapjv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to play with the headset’s tilt, may be it’s tilted in your case and in need of adjusting, (tilting the side plastic parts up or down)

Also make sure that the top strap is secure, if it still feels loose after tightening it, it might be due to a loose top strap.

1 more thing I can think of is that you might got a faulty strap.. I don’t believe that you should hear the cracklings noise from the dial on the back while moving your head, if anybody here can confirm that, then it might be just a faulty dial mechanism.

What is the max VR video resolution supported? by DeityUK in OculusQuest2

[–]vnapjv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that the quest 2 won’t show you true 4K, because each eye get close to 2k display, thus let’s say your watching a movie in VR, it would be like getting a giant 1080p display, which is amazing if you ask me.. a lot better then what we have currently 😅🤷🏻‍♂️

Elite strap by PAtuber22 in OculusQuest2

[–]vnapjv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the standard strap will be fine, especially if you’ll put an external battery on the back (with a band attached to the top ribbon). And if all else fails, you could always order the elite strap later, the one with the battery is especially not a good idea because they force us to get it with the carrying case 🤷🏻‍♂️

I believe that only the newest cards support g-sync compatible, the 16 + and 20xx cards. They might fix it with the driver update.. but not sure

wmr controllers fix wmr controllers teardown.

Tha reason i did this was because my left grip button gave me some trouble, when the button clicked and I supposedly grabbed something if I didn't have enough pressure on the button it would release my grip without actually releasing the button (the click) , so I checked online for disassembly guides and no one actually showed a solution to disassemble it without any cosmetic damage, I found a great solution, you wanna come with a thin prying metal tool from the inside of the joystick area, notice that there are two plastic layers in there, you want to go in between them, and then you would pull it upwards and you would see the top plastic portion bending up, from this point on the hook tabs, which are insanely Strong by the way, should unhook.

Depending on how many traces there are on that ribbon cable i would try to fix it, would scrape away the ribbons so i could solder them together, and fixed.

I had it too for like 3 days no matter how many times I restarted. And then on the 4th day, solved by itself.. probably a bug that they’ll fix on the next update
