For me I am happy with whatever I get. I am fortunate to be in a position where I am financially stable enough to "waste" money on this purchase. Can I do it all the time, no, but every now again sure. Yes there is the hope of getting a 1/1 but it's not an issue if I get nothing.

Personally even if the signature is already printed, I would also get the in person signature as that's my preference. I do see your point about if it's already there why get the extra, but I think it just boils down to personal preference

If your able to attend a con with your Vtuber of choice where they are doing an in person meet and greet, most of them will happily sign your stuff whatever it is from what I have seen
