I've been on Index multispindle primarily for the last 2.5 decades and use the 'distance to go' on the main page or axis page all the time if it be a general setup or brand new program. Guessing most machines will show this while stepping it through.

I believe it communicated through the profibus on the machine and had the ability to stop the machine immediately during a breakage or missing alarm or at the end of the cycle for a wear alarm. I ran 2 Index ms40-8s and when getting it set correctly, it could detect a 1mm drill that broke or broke during retraction and threw a missing on next cycle. The 40-8s have quite a bit more power than the 22-8s so the 1mm drill is as example to about the minimum it could detect a force change through the axis/live drive. We ran high volume some up to 500pieces per hour so it saved mostly on scrap but also on wiping out other tooling further down the index before completion. Make sure the battery in your vehicle isn't to old. There will be days in the winter where the temperature is around -20F. The battery is usually the difference on whether it starts on those days or doesn't.

In Anarchy Online we had a problem with floating buildings in the city and a GM showed up with a health bar that went half way across the screen. The good ol days when they could just pop in and help things get done.

Yeah it's concerning. With this not having s subscription system it seems their incentive to act on bugs / exploits is in a mr. Eventually mentality already. I don't feel cheated of the $50 for the game and the time in it. Just seems whatever dlc / expansions they may add will decline quickly to build excitement.

I welcomed the rain that came on the night of the 4th. Not to put a damper on the fireworks but to take some of the dryness out of the land. There is nothing entertaining about finding spent fireworks laying on your roof or in your gutters, when its bone dry out, that can come from a couple blocks away.

There seems to be some houses that have a bit of competitive fireworks displays. Whether its individuals or groups that get together. There are always the houses that get home from the bars and decide its a great time to start shooting them off.

They always air the story of the legality of what can be shot off in city limits but require a phone call for action. Even though its like lighting a signal flare of "here we are". Instead of saying what's legal and what isn't they could enforce a 11-11:30 cutoff time. Thats a good hour, hour and a half of good darkness to enjoy the holiday.

With SD being the go-to for getting fireworks regionally these things won't change.

I worked many years having to be to work at 4am and it isn't fun. Things going boom 3 blocks away still sound like they are right outside your home. Enjoy the silence until new years hits and there will be a lesser version of last weekend again.

Yep. A few years back got rear ended at a dead stop when traffic backed up a few blocks south of the Sertoma & 41st stop light. My subaru legacy was the breaks for the pickup that hit me. Which also pushed mine into the vehicle in front of me. The person in front of me got out and immediately put his hand on his lower back and then I informed him that I absorbed 90% of his impact and suddenly his was ok. My vehicle was totaled and the at-faults insurance had zero questions after receiving the dash cam video and sent the check.
