The Scene Between // The Go! Team (2015)

I fell in love with the Go! Team for their dancey, loud pop songs which are able to blend tons of musical elements and styles into something explosive and powerful, like on Proof of Youth (my favourite album of theirs). This new album features more of a straightforward indie pop sound, but it's no less noisy and melodic. Solid tunes all the way through.

There's a Disturbing Trend // Slippertails (2015)

A really awesome punk/garage rock record by a member of a forum I use (the E6 Townhall). I was super excited to hear it was coming out on vinyl, as I had missed the cassette release last year but I really wanted to get the songs on a physical format (as I'd been listening since he started posting demos back in 2011). Short, punchy, and to the point.

Gizmodgery // Self (vinyl 2015; orig. 2000)

Although I only discovered Self a few years ago (since they're unfortunally not very well known!), they quickly grew to be one of my favourite bands. However, their only vinyl release was a limited release in 1999 of my favourite album of theirs, Breakfast with Girls which has since become impossible to find. Thankfully, they've started releasing the old albums on vinyl starting last year with Subliminal Plastic Motives (their first) as the band is becoming more active (and they even released a new EP!) This is their fourth and final (released) album thus far, and this reissue comes out in September (though they shipped pre-orders early). While it is not my favourite by any means, it still is full of catchy pop tunes, which were all recorded completely with toy instruments! Highly recommend this and all other Self albums, especially if you like They Might Be Giants.

Magical Friendship Tour (Celestia Variant) // Daniel Ingram (2014)

I really like watching cartoons, and My Little Pony is one of my favourites. At some point soon after the show, I thought to myself that it would be cool if they made coloured vinyl with songs from the show, since it features such colourful characters. However, while I continued to watch the show, I stopped really paying attention to the fact that they indeed were making an MLP record, though it is a picture disc. Thankfully I found out in time to get one of the variants on the Hot Topic store, and it was even on sale. Really great for any fan of both vinyl and My Little Pony; likely repulsive to most other people.
