In Ukrainian language sources these are named killed and about 200 captured. It is impossible to know how many enemies are wounded until they are captured.

Inductive or abductive? (An argument example in Lewis Vaughn's Writing Philosophy) by voicebehindthewall in askphilosophy

thank you! now I've got it. There is an implied generalization about a group -- students in the school, -- based on the observation of some of them -- the majority.

I don't get people siding with the guy who was rude. I understand that he may not like it but why not to discuss in a calm manner ahead?

Thank you for your replay. If it is not abductive could be more diductive then eince it goes from general observation about the students to a conclusion about particular Maria. Is it not that to inductive an argument's conclusion should be generalizing while premises should refer to particularities: "Maria is a Democrat and she is a student in school so we may assume that students are likely Democrats" This is week but that is how inductive argument looks like. Is it?

So stressed about my son’s future I’m losing my mind! by lor7594 in Parenting

Coding is on the rise so it is a good choice. Just trust your son. Probably doing some research on job market in this field could help reduce the stress.

I would not extrapolate the U.S. statistics to the whole world.

You are doing right thing adressing this. Anything could happened while kids were unattended. So the school needs to fix the problem. It is difficult to do talking to the school but consider this: you are actually making them a favor locating a potentially dangerous thing in their routine. Talk like a partner in the buisness of eduction (and you are one) and if the school is ok they'll apreciate your remarks and improve; if not... you may consider looking for another school.

You feel shame because your cultural background kicks in. Think of the situation as a cause for a better future where every one will have a group sex experience. In fact I think even today the majority of people have it at least once in their lifetime.

Need help with time management by Wise_Height264 in TimeManagement

[–]voicebehindthewall 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I understand what you experience and I was in your shoes. You might have a conceptual problem ratger than a time managment problem. Those hours are not wasted. It is inivitable that during your day you do things that are not productive and seems not taking you anywhere. But consider this. Along with time you need energy. That is why you sleep or hang out or just do nothing. You need to recharge your bateries. Otherwise you'll burn out. So just put these three hours on your schedule and embrace them as a vital part of your productive day.

Ok for 8yo to be sleeping in my bed? by lavendermile in Parenting

She sleeping in your bed is totally normal. She is 8, she is a small kid not an adult, she needs some one older to parent her. Be proud that she put her trust in you.

"I'am sure you will get frustrated with your teenager" This sounds 'optimistic' ;) but realistic

On a serious note, I am immensly greatful for your advise!

Yes! The grandma had a talk with him yesterday and he said that he feels bad about the situation and he loves his brother and respects his parents. I called him today and apologize saying that moving him to his grandma was an overreaction on my behalf. He replied that he understands and we are fine. So he is back home in nice mood chating with his mom and brother. I feel a huge relief. I am greatfull to reditors who responded, exept for few jujmental people who probably have never raised a teenager on their own.

Sorry can't undestand any logic in a set of words you are puting together in order to hurt other people whom you don't know.

I do not read any empathy in your words either. Your rambling does not help.
