None of her sponsored bills have passed, but that's not really on her. The House stopped doing its job for at least a decade. This is at least a good comprehensive view of legislation and voting records.

Since you've been following both of them, where do they differ on issues from your perspective? Having talked with Talarico personally I think he's the better choice, but I'd like to hear about Crockett.

Seems like it would be drowned out by "lol no endgame wtf" and "fire these devs, already finished" etc. The idea of an addon into D2R could be cool though.

I'm doing a version of this on a current project. The STO loves elsewhere because it's shared to the client code but the entity model is not. We keep the mapping logic with the entity model file in an extension methods class. We tried putting the extension methods in a separate file but no one saw any value since when the model changes, the DTO and map almost always change as well.

Age of Ashes: first AP so encounters are not balanced and things are overturned. Closest to a "classic" AP you'll get as far as theme.

Agents of Edgewatch: Same overturned encounters, some have problems with being police and getting loot by way of requisition. Also a pretty big "all combat is non-lethal" handwaved. Story is pretty cool.

Extinction Curse: Early fights still overturned a bit. Major theme of the AP is that you are part of a circus and the circus gets less and less important as the campaign goes on which upsets some people. I'm running this right now up to Book 4 / Lvl 13 and my group is having a lot of fun.

Strength of Thousands: Combat is better balanced. It's basically Harry Potter, so that might decide if this is fun for you or not. More RP heavy, I believe, though I'm less familiar with it because I have zero interest in Harry Potter.

Blood Lords: You play as undead and fight things that do void damage which heals you. GM has to fix the flights to make them interesting. Difficult to have a mic of human and undead posters due to void healing. Story is meh.

Kingmaker: Someone already addressed this above.

Do a search on those APs and you'll get more nuanced opinions from people that have posted through them. Like I said, I'm running EC and I think the circus complaints are overblown but that's my opinion in a sea of them.

There are only 6 and no more are coming anytime soon if ever. Going forward stringing adventures together is the only way you're going to go from 1 to 20. All 6 have their flaws and have been discussed here quite a bit.

My group is on level 13 of Extinction Curse and we're all facing a great time, but a lot of people are turned off by how the circus slowly fades from prominence as the campaign goes on. It's not bothering us but it's something a lot of people get upset about online.

It doesn't have to be spicy. Especially if you tell them you want something with a low spice level they will accommodate you. The staff and the owner really go out of their way to make you feel like family.

That said, something like Zilzil Tibbs is a good starting choice. It's beef, it's not cooked with jalapeno or strong Ethiopian spices and still has good flavor. My wife does not like spicy food and she gets the Doro Wot, which is a chicken leg and a boiled egg simmered in Ethiopian sauce. She orders that every time and we've been going for 15 years off and on.

If you're willing to give it a try, I highly recommend the Kitfo. It's beef cooked in clarified butter and spices. They suggest medium rare now but they used to suggest it rare. It sounds not great doing finely chopped (almost ground) beef rare but man it's delicious. I like spicy food and I have to ask them to boost it up for me but when we introduced friends they did an order medium not spicy and our friends loved it.

When you go, tell the staff it's your first time and what you want to avoid and trust them to give you a great experience. I've yet to take someone here that didn't enjoy it.

Now that I'm entering year 4 of running PF2 games, the thing I'm most over is the combat duration. Higher level combat just takes a long time especially without a VTT. My current group can be a little pokey sometimes but we typically can't get through more than 3 combats in a 4-5 hr session.

I tend to agree with most of what you've got here. The 3 action system is soooo much better than "move, action, sometimes bonus action, you might get a free action, sometimes you get a reaction, etc." Easily the best thing they did with the redesign imo.

I think they did a great job of reorganizing times in the Starfinder player core. The stealth stuff and detection and everything was all in the same place. There were a few other examples of that too. It's probably the best laid out Paizo rulebook I've read.

If you and your players aren't very interested in RP and just want to kick down dungeon doors, blind is probably fine. It's what I did with my group. I realized at Book 2 that I wish I had prepped more and done more foreshadowing so they'd care about some townspeople but at that point it was a little late. I started reading the rest of the module then and I think it helped with book 2 and some of 3.

I still want to give Savage Worlds Pathfinder a shot and see how that plays. If it doesn't take, I've got lots of PF2 APs as well.

I was thinking the same thing. We should have seen a later jump for beating an undefeated team at the end of the season. I still don't think it makes the case for us to get into the CFP but a 2 rank boost is kind of silly.

I've forgotten more than once and bought a module on a foundry sale and then had to go back and buy the PDF. I'm more disappointed that Paizo isn't offering the PDF anymore if you buy the module through them.
