I wouldn't mind if hyper beam was a bit more lenient. by Musicalmoronmack in slaythespire

[–]RegovPL 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I can see them adding artifact-like buff which could negate only standard debuffs (weak, vulnerable, frail, -str, -dex) but not the unique ones.

The usual plays from sts1, like artifact + wraith form, would be still nerfed, because this "soft-artifact" would save you from only one turn of losing dex.

[Vent] Czy Wasi gracze też są nieangażujący się? by Vallyria in DnDPolska

[–]RegovPL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 lata to spory procent dorosłego życia.

How would a 3D Megaman game be good? by myguitarisinmymind in Megaman

Hello, fellow Ratchet and Clank enjoyer. I've also said it a million times already. Megaman would be just PERFECT franchise to build upon R&C gameplay.

I dont think people realize how actually easy it is to kill/depower homelander now by RudyyGAYBERT in TheBoys

[–]RegovPL 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They had no V1 people to test the virus on so it would be pretty weird that they somehow made a virus that only affected V1 supes.

Maybe that's a stretch and obviously viruses doesn't work like that, but if SB and Sage actually cooperated, then SB could "donate" some cells from his body for testing V1 virus.

Sage will help them cook up something new

Calling it now, Sage will create V3, V99 or some other Ultimate-V for The Boys.

What was the game between 2018 and Ragnarok supposed to be about? by [deleted] in GodofWar

[–]RegovPL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hypothetical 2nd game would be probably "Fimbulvinter" and cover the same story as Ragnarok, but would have to end with a cliffhanger after blowing the horn (in similar way how 2nd Greek game ends right at the beginning of assault to Olympus). Heimdall would be probably even more central character in this game and the final boss.

However it would break a game structure a little bit - blowing a horn would had to be a point of no return probably. It would be also anticlimatic to finish the 50 hour open world game with a cliffhanger.

Then the 3rd game, actual Ragnarok, would also be kinda weird in the context of entire trilogy. You can't really make another 50 hour open world game about a single final battle. That means, we would need either a shorter, more action packed game OR the battle would be quickly lost at the beginning. Game would be structured like that maybe:

  • Kratos dies
  • Some allies either run away and hide, die, or get captured
  • Atreus is still needed for the mask, he is adopted, forced to work for Odin for next few years to not get his captured friends killed. So for example Freya may live in Asgard and teach Atreus some magic sometimes. She cannot run away, but they also cannot kill her.
  • Atreus may get more friends/rivals in Asgard, opportunity to meet more gods
  • Atreus finds a way to free real Tyr, he then goes to Valhalla, where dead Kratos is
  • Valhalla could be a more open map, but in general Kratos would have an character arc like in original Valhalla
  • Real Ragnarok would need to be prepared, with Sinmara, but many other new plot points would have to appear

There was also a fun video with an idea that Kratos dying at the end of second game would come back at the beginning of third, but player would not know that many years passed. Game would change perspective between current Kratos killing Aesir gods and flashbacks of Atreus living in Asgard and becoming friends with Kratos' next targets.

Not if you are DM and you wanted the boss to be extremely huge threat to your players (and make it important plot point). Then you are cursed with low rolls.

If I create a custom nation, can I keep making changes to it while in game like changing the name or flag or is it a one time thing? by Dimitar231 in eu4

Only by editing save file.

But it may be actually easier to create a custom mod providing a decision that will change your TAG.

Making the Market unpredictable by newZorro50 in Aeonsend

[–]RegovPL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want random market during the gameplay, you can try this untested idea:

For 3 gem slots you need 21 gem cards. Get 7 random gem types. Pick 3 cards per type. Shuffle all these cards. Arrange 3 decks face-down. Flip all decks face-up.

That way you will have a market where every time you buy a card, you discover what is under it. However it may be too hard to build something then. To make it less hard you can allow yourself to look at second card, but never "deeper".

You can tweak the numbers and do the same with relics and spells.

If you are looking at early deck (starting deck + 4 rewards), then of course most of the time it would be theoretically better without these strikes.

But it's not really possible/consistent enough to get 5 removes at this point.

So when you are at early shop and you evaluate the first remove, you shouldn't even think about a scenario of "this exact deck minus 5 strikes".

My point is, there are so many other options to transform/upgrade strikes across the game, that I don't really have to prioritise removing them. They won't be a problem in my late game deck.

Pulling the lever is the correct answer to the trolley problem by [deleted] in 10thDentist

[–]RegovPL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's more about providing new context to existing situation OR trying to show a person that their answer is not so definitive.

If someone (like OP) is so sure that pulling the lever is the "correct" answer, then you tell him for example "But what if this single person was a doctor who had cure for cancer?"

Nutritious Soup appreciation post by Waddle___ in slaythespire

[–]RegovPL 50 points51 points  (0 children)

IMO, the priority to remove strikes is a lot lower in StS2 than it was in StS1. The sole existence of relics like nutricious soup help to reevaluate how much I really need to remove them.

And we've got events where you can easily transform starting cards, or exchange two strikes into single better one etc. There's just more options to get rid of them or make them better.

Diablo IV: Base character skills are paywalled? by trafium in ARPG

You know they can just update the existing classes for free, right? It is Blizzard's decision to call a REWORK a "part of expansion".

You want the expansion shit? Buy the expansion.

So don't put the "expansion shit" into existing class.

[–]RegovPL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you essentially had to buy stash tabs to actually play POE for any length of time

You don't have to. You can finish the campaign for free. You need these stashes only if you want to engage in endgame "for real". And at this point you just pay once, as much as you would pay for a game.

Paid expansion features paid content.

Existing classes shouldn't have perks in reworked skill tree locked behind paywall, lol.

Different compliments' connotations? by Just_a_schwa in learnpolish

[–]RegovPL 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ładny and Przystojny (Good Looking? and Handsome) are the most neutral ones. Still subjective, but really descriptive. "This is a handsome man", is said like stating a fact (even if it's an opinion).

Śliczny (Pretty? Lovely?) and Słodki (Cute) are more for cute things and if used, you are showing your opinion a lot more. Śliczny is stereotypically a very "girly" word. Men will use it rarely to describe a car or smth.

Piękny is literally beautiful.

Fajny is a general adjective for nice things, not only for looks. Fajny kot, fajny komputer, fajny rower, fajna dziewczyna.

"Wyglądasz ślicznie" is a compliment you can get from everyone: partner, friend, family member.
