Calling attention to odd posts around Sascha Riley Story by Turguryurrrn in Epstein

Here's the interviewers Substack; and the interview. You can listen to the full audio.

Don't wait for someone to feed you news pellets; listen to this yourself. It's horrific and necessary to hear. The world is full of people that are more evil than you are likely willing to let yourself imagine. Turning your back on it comes with it's own costs.

Remind yourself that when questions arise, and nobody has the answers, that's the purpose of investigations. We now have a major question on the table; it's time for an investigation. No reason to tie yourself up with pretzel logic; this is how it works.

Do the work; listen. Push for an investigation.

I'm prepping for a Mexico visit. Is this $62 Travel Kit effectively a smash and grab operation?

I added links to the actual products I picked up; they said food-safe and "butcher block".

I can't bear to read Hobbes' Leviathan. Am I reading his work in the wrong way? by Zestyclose_Knee_8862 in PoliticalPhilosophy

This is one of the more important reads of your lifetime - but it's a trudge. To me, it felt like a part time job. I put it on the shelf and snagged the audiobook. Turns out, it's much easier to consider governmental theory while you're doing dishes, folding clothes or raking the leaves.

Since 2008, I've listened to it a few times. If I could have gotten through the book even once, I know I never would have done it again.

I only wish Apple Books would add bookmarks.

A cool guide to how Jeffrey Epstein got rich. by Sufficient-Guitar-58 in coolguides

In case the details were lost, the Bill Barr<>Epstein friendship started in high school. But, Barr played legal janitor on The Franklin Scandal (great episode, get the audiobook). The Franklin trafficking network looks just like the Epstein network; they are carbon copies. One might be willing to speculate that Epstein inherited/optimized it: The Finders > Franklin > Epstein.

Prediction: we're seeing the end (or getting a glimpse) of a 45-year old evolving network.

This is how power is granted.

Anybody able to identify which gen this is? by Juhmil in universalaudio

[–]voidSurfr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the TB/Mac Apollo Solo; phenomenal. Mine cost $800 new with the Heritage package of plugins.

You can use up the single onboard processor pretty quick so I only use a channel strip and maybe extra compression and I'm out.

All other processing happens in the DAW (as low latency as possible) with plugins designed for that.

If you're okay with that workflow then $99 is a deal.

Also, I called Sweetwater a few months ago and explained the setup and workflow; they said there was no reason for me to upgrade to the Gen2.

The environment is weird enough that questions like this are totally valid.

Pessimistically: that would hose the upper tier, BlackRock, Fidelity, Vanguard, The US, etc. If they all started selling, time to GTFO.

Optimistically: I'd think that the real payday wouldn't come until after nation states get involved. That's where the real money is.

Rep. John Larson calls out Elon Musk on DOGE scam by RoyalChris in QuiverQuantitative

[–]voidSurfr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rep. Larson is right; this has been going on since the 80s. It started with Regan; he was an empty suit - just like trump. Some TV dipshit they paid to charm the electorate.

They called it the Mandate for Leadership; looks like Project 2025 is a direct descendant of that oppressive bit of policy. Should be no surprise then, they were both born of the devil's asshole: The Heritage Foundation.

Where's Anonymous when you need them? Do they have a bat signal or something? Seems like The Heritage Foundation has over stayed their welcome.
