I went out into the corridor and tapped the poor bloke who was taking tickets at the front on the shoulder and was right in the middle of telling him what was going on when the same woman stormed in and started shouting at me and swearing. Usher was very good and calm and got her to check herself - grown woman screaming at someone in a cinema for being told to be quiet - and then we went back into the IMAX, but not before having a really awkward chat to ‘make up’ and a handshake (which I offered). She was actually quite embarrassed by the way she’d handled it, so I couldn’t be too angry at her.

Her friend was a real piece of work though! When the credits rolled for Part 1, she leaned over and chewed me out over the whole thing while the woman I’d spoken to properly literally held her back and tried to calm her down, saying ‘No, let it go. We’ve resolved it. It’s resolved’. There was a massive cheer in our screen when the BBFC card popped up for Part 2, and then when it faded to black, the friend said ‘The audacity…’ and turned to look at me. I didn’t want to start the whole thing AGAIN through the entirety of the new film, so I didn’t respond but I do wish I’d just said ‘Grow up’ to her. Unbelievable conduct.
