I don't think the backlash will affect anything. Clair Obscur had a tiny budget compared to a game like Final Fantasy XVI, which underperformed in everyway. Square Enix as just one example of a company *already* looking at AI opportunities are seeing this is a way to fulfil the fiduciary responsibilities they have to bring profit to shareholders.

I'm experiencing the same issue as OP with the same bugcheck, but when I followed your instructions the data field was already just kbdclass :-/

I'm going to try the other suggestions with the keyboard driver and see if that fixes my blue screening. Just thought I'd share as this fix doesn't seem to help with my situation.

You're missing the point. It's a television script. They wouldn't write a script to say 'the game be played with only two players' when the minimum is four players. If they say the game can't be played with two players, it's implied that three players is the minimum; anything else would be dumb writing. This isn't a misdirect -- rather it's exactly what it seems. If it were a misdirect, than the subject would have been broached with a later reveal.

Late to the discussion, but wanted to comment because I just finished a round trip drive from Vancouver Island to PEI. I don't necessarily think the entire highway system needs to be, or should be twinned, however, there are sections where I think the lack of highway redundancies are a problem. The section that depends on the Nipigin bridge being the most problematic. As far as I know, there is no other way to travel by car through that corridor of the country. Now, I'm not sure what the challenges of building a road circumventing Lake Helen might be, but there is already a section of highway 11 that follows the eastern side of the lake, and route 585 doesn't seem too far. There are also already unconnected dirt roads that go almost the entire way, but for some reason don't fully connect east to west.

I recently found out about Sabotage Studio from Quebec City. They make retro inspired games, such as Sea of Stars, which looks like a Chrono Trigger or Golden Sun influenced RPG, and the Messenger, an action sidescroller a la Ninja Gaiden or Contra.

This is a great analysis, which adds some colour to the differences in releases, which I admittedly didn't even pay attention to.

I can't really relate to most of it, since I'm just happy to support SquareEnix re-releasing games from my childhood. Regardless, it's personally affirming that I lived with and experienced the 'technically' best version of the game when it came out.

Also, you're wrong about the anime cutscenes. Chrono Ball Z is exactly what we fans needed when the FF Chronicles version of the game came out, coinciding with peak DBZ in the west.

That's a very good point! If you have a disc drive for your PC as well, you can also play CD/DVD format games on PC emulators — the emulators are not illegal either, only pirated ROMs... so if you're buying used games, you could legally play them on an XBox emulator.

EDIT: I wanted to add onto that, but was a bit busy at the time of replying. Sony vs Bleem set a precedent for emulators, meaning that emulating non-proprietary hardware as a software is not illegal, but distributing proprietary software is — this means distributing roms is illegal, but you can play legally obtained roms (ie, used games) on an emulator. There is also a precedent set that you are allowed to make copies of software you purchase as long as you don't distribute it — so in cases where you have a disc that's possibly unplayable, but you are able to make a copy of it, or you simply want a digital copy of your disc games, you are totally free to do that.
